Expanding the work of @pintgiving in Brighton 🧡 Helping the homeless with the day-to-day things and a friendly face. Let’s make it a community effort🖤

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Happy Monday all have a great day and enjoy the week ahead.
Please stay safe and look out for others, especially those less fortunate.
Two tents on a street in central London and why ?
We can walk past look, think the worse of them or even act like they are not there.
Many homeless are regarded as invisible people why because of the lack of acknowledgement, many say the only acknowledgment they get is abuse.
So why do we act that way towards humans in our own country ?
Most times the obvious is lack of knowledge and also the perception we are given by others especially the media.
Lack of education is not a way to treat another human, but why does this happen every day in the UK ?
Our outreach is not just about handing out food and essentials but it is also an insight in to the real world of homelessness and what is really happening in front of our eyes and on our doorsteps.
Join us and see for yourself what life is really like on the streets and why many of these people are just like you and me.

Happy Thursday all enjoy your day and stay safe !!!
Last night we had our event organised by @pintgivingevents at the @512village512 bar in Dalston and as successful as it was, the great thing was seeing so many faces who had joined us at one time or another on our outreaches throughout London.
It’s a great feeling when you see old friends and catch up on gossip and news since you last saw each other.
The feeling, the moment, all priceless, and that exactly how we feel when we see our friends on the streets whom we haven’t seen in a while.
It may sound weird or funny but the power of human interaction holds no barrier and this is something that comes naturally so naturally that you just feel something special when you connect the smile the handshake the hug it all means something !!!

When will they learn ?
When will they pull their fingers out and do something about it ?
The sixth richest country in the world and this is still happening ?
We hear it all the time, yet it happens all the time.
What next and winter hasn’t even started ?
Another story, another death and another day do we just turn the page and move on ?
This is an issue and it’s a major issue which needs to be addressed and resolved.
Please share if you care and let’s highlight this as it could be anyone sleeping on the streets whether for one night or many more !!!
