Human groover, exploring connection through movement
SOL MOTION THERAPIES 🌊🖐🙌🤚🌞

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Empower is the perfect balance and fusion of yoga, functional strength and mobility 🫶🏻🙌🏻🔥 This morning the focus was on “Spring clean”Detoxification.

Torso twists and side-bending movements, physically stretch the lateral areas of the body where Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) places the liver and gallbladder meridians. The Liver Meridian: This pathway travels up the inner leg and along the side of the rib cage. Twisting gently stretches and opens this area. Gallbladder Meridian: This pathway runs down the outer side of the head, torso, hips, and legs. Side bends and rotations target these outer lines. Fascia Connection: Science shows that traditional meridian pathways often follow lines of connective tissue, or fascia, around muscles. Stretching and twisting help keep this tissue flexible. Movement is so much more than just moving your limbs to create shapes, increasing your strength or changing your physical appearance! This may be your goal at the start of your journey, but once you feel the deeper shifts, that’s when the magic happens 🙌🏻🍃✨

Be honest…have you shown up for yourself enough this week? 💛

If the answer is no, there’s still time to make space for yourself.

We’ve got a few beautiful ways to do just that over the rest of the week, including Taylor’s second-to-last class at Sun Rock this Friday 🥹 Come practice with Taylor before she heads off on her next adventure! We’ll be making the most of these last few classes together.

And if you’re looking for a slower Sunday, we’ve got something special for you too:

✨ Community Qigong with Nick from @wujimedicine (location TBA)
✨ Yin with @sofia.yoga_ayurveda at 4pm

A little movement, a little stillness, and some time to simply come back to yourself.

Which one are you joining us for? Book via the Momence app.

A new chapter for Sun Rock🧡.

Tomorrow, Jess officially steps into ownership of the studio.

Many of you already know and love Jess, and we couldn’t think of a more beautiful person to continue guiding this space.

As we move through tonight’s Full Moon and into a new month, it feels like the perfect time to welcome this next chapter.

Take a moment to hear a few words from Jess to our wonderful community.

And if you’re joining us tomorrow night for Yin, we’d love for you to stay afterwards as we celebrate together with a glass of bubbles or kombucha. 🥂🌕

Here’s to new beginnings, and thank you for being part of the Sun Rock community!!

NEBR has just secured two incredible opportunities for our club:
$1000 start-up grant through the NRMA Insurance RISE Program x Surfing Australia supporting our new All Women’s Sub Committee- Tassies first all-female BR club sub committee and a huge step in supporting women’s participation and leadership in our club.
$4000 Break O’Day Community Grant for junior development- A massive boost to support our next generation of local surfers.
We’ve got big plans ahead and we’re excited to keep investing in our local surfing community, from the number of epic women involved in our club to the groms coming through. It's about time we bring the NEBR grom patrol back to shake up the east coast lineups . Reach out if you're interested to join up to NEBR and take part in the action!

I welcome this new day with an open heart. Breath arriving before thought. Light touching the quiet places within me.

I rise not from obligation, but from devotion to the life I am here to live.

May my steps be guided by what matters. May my energy be spent on what is real. May my work be an offering and my rest be sacred.

I trust the rhythm moving through me. The unseen intelligence that knows where I’m meant to go.

As I create, I remember why I began.
As I serve, I stay rooted in myself.
As I grow, I remain soft.

This day, and all that it holds is fuel for the life I am becoming. I meet it with clarity, courage and care.

Tonight I welcome our new Spirit Yin Teachers. I cannot wait to share this beautiful experience and wisdom with you.

Day 9 @surfebruary 🏄‍♀️ 🏄‍♂️

Woooowweee that was a big day!! We finished the day celebrating our beautiful @piplayton lap around the sun ☀️ 💛🧡

We checked the waves this morning, decided there were too many people in, so came home and collected honey from the girls 🐝 and then had a late afternoon surf with Pip and @mandm_goaus 🫶🏽

I have found it hard to keep the socials going this year - today I did a radio interview and remembering the reason we started doing SurFebruary has always been about the grief associated with loosing someone very close to us to cancer!

Please help us raise much needed funds for cancer research with @chris_obrien_lifehouse - it’s tax deductible AND IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Much love

Day 5 @surfebruary 🏄‍♀️ 🏄‍♂️

I would have shown more footage of surfing but I just couldn’t! We got our three waves and we laughed ALOT!! Onshore rubbish for today’s heat!!

A huge thank you to the donations from @evie_jade @rohrranch @piplayton and @swell_being__ so grateful our little North East Tassie Team are amazing!!! Raising over $3300 in five days - yewwwww - that’s absolutely helping raise research money for @chris_obrien_lifehouse for better cancer outcomes!!

As we said today we surfed with my beautiful sister @shelldunc1 in our hearts while we battled those tiny waves, she is on the other side of her cancer journey and we are so grateful for her outcome and pray that it stays that way!

Much to love to you all for the donations and love - we truly are so grateful for every single one of you!

Much love
Pam & Ty xx

Deep gratitude to the beautiful yogis who joined us for our final Yin Yoga Teacher Training as a duo.

@pocketrocketyogi and I have shared 14 trainings over the past five years. What a journey it has been. So much growth, learning, laughter, challenge and deep respect. I am endlessly grateful for everything we’ve created together.

Anna, thank you for your wisdom, your integrity and for supporting my growth every step of the way.

Our paths will continue to weave - Anna will still be sharing her anatomy expertise within my Yin trainings in 2026, now held fully under my business and infused with Spirit Cacao Ceremony Training as an add on option!

A new chapter is opening.

✨ 2026 dates dropping soon
Sunshine Coast • Gold Coast • Sydney • Tasmania

✨2027 - Bali + NZ

Spirit Yin & Spirit Cacao Online Training will continue also - dates are coming. I am just having a break before I release all the dates 🤍

So much love and gratitude for all who have walked this path with us.
