Woo Girls, plur(rr)… NOV 13 🔒tix in bio

Waking up from a nap and the sun is gone, I wake in a fever wrestling my blanket. In my last dream she walked into a sea of people and I grabbed her by the left speaker. 12-bar sequence that cycles, when we visit in our sleep, I wake up hungry and ready, just to smoke out the window but it blows inside and through all the curtains, wearing a cigarette coat. I don’t care, we snack from my fridge, avocado and frozen bread, and we all walk over. Shadows jumping, squeaks and squeals entice me to the left speaker. You watch me stick the flyer to my slick chest and when it falls I lick it and paste it on your plump cheek and you dance hands-free and half concealed. You’re shaking down on my belt buckle, I’m crumpled with pressure. I punch a dart, and float around the alleyways, breathing in the quiet night air. I return to the sounds that spin me into its vortex, my skin is sticky, gripping onto bodies. The pit between us is dancing and crowning and ready to marry us, hundreds of feet apart. Our Friday blessing blown open by bass.

babyxxan and Kiernan Laveaux will soundtrack our night, from 10pm to 4am. Please arrive quietly and show up with respect, the energy that you put out sets the foundations for how other people can move around the space - it’s infectious, we are the mycelium 🧫

As the nights extend through the cooler months of Sydney, our streets are quiet, but something drones beneath the cool breeze… voices rumble through a liminal shopping centre summoning vampire babes and goth angels, we invite you to ~ Slow Burn.

Welcoming artists @scariestgirlintheworld @fairie and @sin____a_ to Suite7a for an evening of live performances. Surrender yourself to the transportative journey of these artists as their haunting sounds guide you and gently hold your heart in their warm hands. Slow Burn explores the spaces in between, the soft glow of a lamp in the dark corners of a room, soil trodden gritty floor, ridden with ash and flower dew.

Date and Time: Saturday 30th May, doors from 7.30pm. Music from 8pm ~ firm start
Location: Suite7a Haymarket
