A new kind of hub in Berlin — a home for artists who can collaborate, learn, and create together using TouchDesigner, vvvv & similar tools 🌱

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Looking back on three editions of dispatch so far, the last two (vol. 2 in March and vol. 3 last Friday) were also streamed live for everyone outside Berlin on our YouTube channel. Nice to see the format finding its feet, with presentations across creative coding, digital art and experimental audiovisual practices, an open A/V playground after, and a room full of people sharing tools, asking questions and connecting with each other.

And to everyone who came by or tuned in!

Happy new year everybody!

2025 is over and what a crazy year it was. We’re proudly looking back on interactive and immersive projects in digital art, complex technical environments, and a continued refinement of how we work as a studio within institutional contexts.

A number of new projects and collaborations are already underway. We are working hard on consolidating our work into a new website and can not wait to share it with you very soon!

Many thanks to our collaborators, friends, and clients for exciting projects in the past year - @architekturmuseum_tum @pixelforest.berlin @wirtschaftsagentur_wien @mvdaustria @thenodeinstitute @interactivescape @refikanadol @motionexperiencelab @audioversum @ustp_hochschule @lucid_dreams_ustp @manifest.io.berlin @codeandcontext @sonnenwelt

Channel:me (2025)
at @3e8.studio & @pixelforest.berlin

Channel:me explores the performative construction of identity in the sense of Judith Butler’s concept of performativity: the self is not understood as something fixed, but emerges continuously through actions, gestures, and social interactions. The film functions as a metaphor for the fragmented and media-shaped self-perception of the digital age: an in-between space in which the self is simultaneously actor, observer, and image.
