🔥Coordination, Speed & Agility!

Another Friday session, another opportunity to challenge myself and learn something new!

This time, working with the PJF Performance Bands, testing my coordination, timing, and ability to move with control.

Some moves come naturally, others definitely don’t! But that’s what I love about this training. There’s still so much to learn, improve, and discover about what my body can do.

Progress isn’t about getting everything right the first time. It’s about showing up, putting in the work, and being willing to get better every session.

Your thoughts shape you.
Your habits build you.
And your choices define you!

I choose to always grow and learn! Not perfection, but the commitment to keep improving, challenging myself, and discovering what I’m capable of.

Fast feet start from the ground up. ⚡️🦶

@pgonzales0 putting the PJF Extended-Length Band to work with some dynamic foot and ankle training.

Quick ground contacts, reactive strength, ankle stiffness and the ability to produce force rapidly are all important qualities for explosive athletes.

Adding band resistance to these movements creates another way to challenge the lower leg while maintaining the speed and rhythm of athletic movement.

Strong feet. Springy ankles. Explosive movement. 🔥

The PJF 3D Band is a great tool for hitters to create resistance throughout their load! 💪⚾️

The resistance allows hitters to really feel their weight shift, create separation, and maintain good posture throughout the swing.

It’s all about creating the right feel and getting the body to move efficiently. Feel it, understand it, then take it into the box! 🔥

Strength that translates to movement. ⚡️

@reemknows1 putting in work with a combination of explosive lateral movement and band-resisted strength training.

The PJF Extended-Length Band provides a versatile way to challenge single-leg strength, stability and control through different positions and ranges of motion.

Because being explosive isn’t just about producing force. It’s about having the strength and control to load, redirect and move efficiently. 🔥

Great combination!

Move strangely
ISO block a day keeps the pain away
Fast shit
Strong shit
Go eat

Can’t cheat the work,it’s just not possible.. no matter where.
For me doing something physically hard is by default, and that work comes easy, it also puts my mind into the mode of I don’t want to do it but I’m trained to override that and do the thing!
And as a coach, other side of work is getting more educated and gathering information to make better decisions, it’s less glamorous than a sprint or deadlift but much more important to do.

And those two complement each other great.

I don’t know where I was going with this but just do the thing, hard one, important one,fun one, rewarding one…

Go get it.

30 years old. Dad-to-be. Still training like an athlete. 💪

Getting older doesn’t mean you have to stop moving like an athlete.

Explosive power. Strength. Stability. Multiplanar movement.

I’m not just training to look good. I’m training to MOVE well, stay athletic, and keep doing the things I love for decades to come.

And with a little man on the way, I’ve got even more reason to stay in the game.

Father Time is undefeated… but I’m making him work for it. 😤
