Ten years, thinking and kicking with the CCA. In September 2016, I moved to Montreal—slightly intimidated, very excited and curious, and with enormous respect for the institution I was joining.
Since that first day, this other kind of institution has been an anchor from which to think, question, argue, learn, unlearn, and act—whether from Montreal or elsewhere. 🌏🌎🌍 There is a special energy, one I thrive on, that comes from countless conversations with my brave, smart, and committed colleagues and collaborators, and with our publics, critics, friends, and those who challenge us. Together, we keep testing how an institution can spark ideas, advance research, widen debate, and create space for critical inquiry—relating architecture to contemporary public concerns and insisting on it as a way of understanding, and acting upon, the world we share and inhabit.

Huge thanks to all of you. Lots of work, questions, and thoughts in the making.
