✍🏽 Join us for a cozy and creative evening of journaling, designed as a gentle transition from the workday into the evening.

Hosted by me (@cassandratle) @planstoprogress, this journaling meet-up is a space to slow down, take pen to paper, and reconnect with yourself in a welcoming and relaxed environment — surrounded by good company, cozy beverages, and shared creative energy.

✨ Theme of the evening: “Golden skies”

Think soft reflections, endings that feel like beginnings, and capturing the in-between moments as the day winds down.

🌥️ This is not a workshop, but rather a creative space where you’re invited to write, reflect, and create at your own pace. There will be optional moments to share reflections with the group if you feel comfortable, along with an intentional closing to help you ease into your evening with clarity and calm.

No previous journaling experience is needed — just bring your journal, a pen, and an open mind to explore, create, and connect with others.

Lunar New Year Journaling Workshop at @merienda.madrid - the recap 😍🧧✨🎋

Una tarde llena de reflexiones, creatividad y buenas conversaciones, acompañado con una rice merienda de café, matcha y una cookie ☕️

To celebrate Lunar New Year, Tết in Vietnamese, I hosted an afternoon where folks got to reconnect to their ancestors and envision the year ahead ✨

I guided the group through:

🎋 Gentle journaling prompts exploring themes of ancestry and the past, to combining that with the year of the fire horse, and into a vision for the next 12 months

🎋 The group got creative to imagine their “ancestral tree” and the seeds they’re watering to leave a legacy

🎋 And we made our own lucky red envelopes, called lì xì in Vietnamese, to carry around and guide us for the new year (or they can pass it on to a friend/family member to wish them good luck!)

The entire evening was so thoughtful and intentional and I am so grateful to have shared a piece of my culture and celebrate the lunar new year with folks! Thank you, to those who came and were open to the experience 🥰
