First one in the books.

FTX × WestWood came together for our first HYROX Simulation, and it was a hell of a way to start.

Athletes got the chance to test their fitness, pacing, transitions, and race strategy in a competitive environment built to expose what’s working and what still needs work.

Huge thank you to everyone who showed up, raced, volunteered, coached, and helped bring it together.

This was the first collaboration.

It won’t be the last.

We may already have something else cooking. 👀

Day 19 of 31! 💪🏾

We’ve made it to Day 19 of our July Movement Challenge, and I’ve been averaging 4.5 miles each day in my weighted vest!

If you’re just joining us, don’t feel like you have to catch up. Start where you are.

🚶🏾‍♀️ Walk 1 mile or 1 minute—just move! Tag me so I can celebrate and cheer you on.

Confession…I really thought I’d be out here running in this weighted vest. 😂 Absolutely not! This thing feels like carrying kettlebells on my chest.

Now…I’ve been eyeing the Omorpho weighted vest, and I’d love to partner with them. 👀 If they bless us with two vests—one for me and one for my training partner—I promise we’ll kick off an August Weighted Vest Challenge! 💥

Here’s what I know:

To recover the recoverable, we have to move.

Your heart is a muscle. If we don’t challenge it, over time it loses strength. Movement is one of the greatest investments you can make in your health, and it’s never too late to start.

So today, don’t overthink it. Just move.

💜Tag someone who needs a little encouragement.
💜Save this as your reminder to get your steps in.
💜Follow along as we finish this month stronger than we started.

💜Tag me if you’re in our July challenge: weighted vest, 10,000 steps or 1 mile walk!

Feeling like your body suddenly changed the rules on you? You’re not alone, and you’re not stuck.

Join @thewomenwholift as we welcome Eve Guzman for a live workshop this Thursday 6/18. Eve will help you understand how your hormones are actually functioning, and why “normal” lab results don’t always mean optimal. You’ll learn what’s really happening in your body during peri/menopause, why the old rules stop working, and how to use nutrition to feel strong, clear, and like yourself again.

This is your season to thrive!

Affirmation from @plantedstrong: I am building a strong foundation. I am building my dreams.

I asked. I worked. I got it. So why does it still feel hard? Because blessings aren’t a finish line, they still require a commitment and execution. The grind doesn’t stop when the goal lands it just shifts.
So as I affirm myself today, I’ll offer this to you too…
One day at a time. One focus at a time. Don’t let the weight of your wins overwhelm you. You earned them. Keep going! Stay focused!

This week I completed my last #Hyrox
I would have never predicted this would be a part of my life’s journey. More than anything Hyrox has taught me that I am much stronger than I sometimes believe I am (physically and mentally).

In the words of my mom, “it’s time for new adventures” now. What a way to close this chapter… with my sister, my Coach, and my Squad! 🥰💪🏾🫡 #Retired #ImOut

Happy Birthday, cousin!

Simply put… YOU ARE SUCH A SHINING LIGHT IN MY LIFE! You are one of the strongest, most resilient, dedicated, and inspiring women I know. You are HER! And, I look up to you more than you know.
I’m so blessed to have you in my life. And, grateful for your example! Praying this year brings you everything you pray for and deserve.

Love you, Jo! 😘
