🚨🚨🚨 Ring the alarm…

We got another NU:TOWN Records release available over at the NU:Camp today, check the slides for track previews 👉🏼

NEW-RELICS VOL.6 [NURE006]

Including two more classics tracks reworked & expertly placed on limited edition 7’ dub plates for the selector’s among us. Cut by our regular maestro on the lathe, @plastidisc who always delivers us a 10/10 quality service & product, someone we can definitely trust with the music, thank you, B! 🙏🏼

This time around we brought Gwen McCrae & Lyn Collins out to provide the vibes over a couple of exceptional GarageHouse styled numbers on these classy looking little 45’s.

No digital release available, no streaming & definitely NOT out on all platforms! You won’t find it anywhere else 🚫

Shipping immediately on a tracked service, any questions feel free to reach out directly 🤝

Shout out @nu_clearcreatives for doing their thang & big up everyone who already claimed a copy of this epic little slice 🫡 check out my latest @subjamfm session where I played both tracks & we landed in a nice position in the charts on Mixcloud, link’s in the bio for that & this! I’m out 🫡

Shouts to @Short_cuts_vinyl for sending me a copy of the new @perrache93 7 inch, which they kindly asked me to design the art work for.

Swipe 👉

I wanted to create something representing my interpretation of the release, a sort of chaos magick, created by mythical creatures, which fits perfectly with my corvids obsession.

I collected & photographed organic matter & tapes, together with shots of my local crows, then exported and manipulated them into a collage of freakish other worldliness of weird energy… at least that was the intention.

No Ai was used in this process.

“x-rs 25” / (“x-rs 22”) / “Schall und Rauch” is available from today on lathe cut vinyl.

Artist: @Perrache93 (New account)
Cut by
Ben Soundhog: @plastidisc
Mastering: Antony Ryan @redredpaw
Label: @short_cuts_vinyl
Art: Clair Crawford

Short Cuts is delighted to confirm the details of our third 7” release, out on 4th February.

We welcome to the label Stuttgart based artist Joachim Henn, who records as Perrache (@perrache93). Their music has previously been released on Polytechnic Youth, Anticipating Nowhere Records, superpolar Taïps and Taping Desk-o-Phon.

This double A side single, as with our previous releases, is available as a very limited 2-track lathe cut 7” on black wax, cut by Ben Soundhog (@plastidisc). The mastering is by Antony Ryan @ Red Red Paw. Each vinyl purchase on Bandcamp comes with the digital files, including one bonus track.

The bold musical approach is complemented by some striking original artwork and design by Glasgow based artist Clair Crawford (@clairhotgem)

There is also a first radio play of one side of the 7” TONIGHT on the “It Came From... Enclosure Three” show - Mad Wasp Radio from 9pm GMT.

As The Years Roll Back - Out Now

A small edition of 20 transparent red lathe-cut records. (Lathe cutting by @plastidisc )

Each sleeve is hand-painted by me using graphite and acrylic on heavyweight card. Because of the manual process, no two are the same. Every copy is signed and numbered.

Orders are fulfilled as 'Artist’s Choice', so the specific painting you receive will be a surprise.

DM for purchase details.

NURELIC RECORDS Limited Edition dub plates that hit the streets in 2025…

As well as the 45’s in my last post, I found time to bring 5 more dubs to the Underground Garage table, backed in the most part by the supporters 🔥 The faith in my work made me want to give you something to remember beyond the music so three of these dubs came as collectors editions with luxury sleeves in 10’ & 12’ formats + there was that extra special 12’ feature…

Massive thank you to @dj_paul_french for not only pushing the sounds I’ve brought to the table & always encouraging me but for also gracing me with a follow-up release this year in NU007, the NU French Connection is gearing up for a 2026 blockbuster remake 🎬 so be sure to watch out for that! Out to my mate @rickymagicmartin for regularly including something NU during his excellent weekly sessions & the enigma that is @dj_tempa for flying the flag consistently during his top notch shows across the DAB ✊🏼 Got’s to give @dj_chris_anthem a mention also for being another advocate of all things NU 🫡

Thank you to all the DJ’s out there who had a little NU:MUSIC in their sessions this year whether you’ve supported the dubs or the digital releases, it’s all made a difference towards what I’ve been able to achieve, far too many names to mention but just know that we’re going all the way IN again next year! 💯

Big up Mark at @garage_tapepacks_ & @1garyc1 @subjamfm for giving me a platform to air out the NU:MUSIC on a weekly/monthly basis throughout 2025 🙏🏼 Big things to come for both platforms in 2026 🚀 No doubt we’ll be linking up again next year 🤝

Shout out to the team over at the @nu_clearcreatives for providing the visuals to match the sounds each & every time 🥂 Big up B @plastidisc for coming through for us in a big way this year, forever grateful 🙏🏼

Lastly, big up those who have taken the time to engage with my content wherever I be at…it’s always nice to see people enjoying the output 🙏🏼❤️

HUGE thanks to everyone who bought the new album Counterintuition on Bandcamp Friday!
It reallly helps out the small labels who support lesser-known artists like The Photocopies. 😊
There are no records left, but if you’re quick, you’ll still find the cassette & CD.
