There are no words that can truly capture how grateful I am for the privilege of loving Aura.

She wasn’t with us her entire life, but from the moment she became part of our family, she became family. My hope is that we gave her the happiest, fullest life we possibly could—that she always felt safe, cared for, and deeply loved.

Aura was bilingual, a total daddy’s girl, and if you knew her, you knew she was always right behind us. No matter where we went around the house, she wanted to be there too. She just wanted to be close to the people she loved.

Thank you for every tail wag, every cuddle, every laugh, every adventure, and every quiet moment. Thank you for teaching us what unconditional love looks like.

Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I wouldn’t trade a single moment we shared. Loving you was one of the greatest gifts of my life, and I will forever be grateful that we found each other.

Run free, sweet girl. You’ll always be my baby, and you’ll always have a place in my heart. ❤️
