Berlin e.V. и Brewing Minds. #x3podcast #PLAYBerlin #Berlin #Geflüchtete

#pandaplatforma #Berlin

Vielfalt-Forscher × PLAY! #LabyrinthKindermuseumBerlin #PlayBerlin #VielfaltForscher

The GGU Team was so happy to participate in KiezLab Open Day last week! 💜 Last Thursday, our team - together with participants in our Year-Round Teen Leadership Program - joined other Berlin-based NGOs and community members for a day full of connection, exchange, and collaboration. We loved sharing more about our work, connecting with neighbors, and learning about other impactful initiatives happening around us! It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of partnership and community. One of the highlights of the day was leading a classic GGU workshop, The Confidence to Lead, with members of the community. We loved watching our participants try out becoming facilitators themselves, stepping out of their comfort zone to practice their leadership skills and uplift others! A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us. We’re excited about the new relationships that began last week and all that’s ahead! 🌱 Follow along on our journey, and let’s support each other where we can! How do we create spaces where teenagers can feel seen, supported, and inspired? Especially when they have been forced to migrate because of war or political regimes. Let’s talk live about why informal education makes a difference. From KiNO, the speaker will be our co-founder Valya Korabelnikova. Joining the dialogue will be Play Berlin and its creative producer and project coordinator, Olga Savchenko. We will discuss: – What challenges do such initiatives face? – Why are they important for teenagers? – How can these projects be supported? – And most importantly — what do they give both teenagers and adults? ⠀ 📅 Join us live on 27 February at 17:00 GMT 📍 On Instagram and YouTube ⏰ Set a reminder. ⠀ 👇 Below is a short introduction to Play Berlin — and don’t forget to follow them on Instagram @play_berlin ⠀ Play Berlin is a grassroots, women-led nonprofit based in Berlin that creates cultural and creative projects for families with refugee experience. Founded in March 2022 in response to the war in Ukraine, the initiative supports children and parents facing displacement by providing access to arts, education, and community activities. The project is run by educators, artists, and cultural workers, and works with international volunteers. Its mission is to ensure that children do not have to put their childhood on hold because of forced migration.

We have started the music and theater project “Song von Morgen” in Berlin! Thanks to all our participants for such an inspiring week! We played , we laughed, we listened to sounds, created stories together and learned to hear the sounds and silence. The more is yet to come! Now we will meet 2 times per week to create a musical performance that we will share in April 2026. We are still open for the participants 9-12 years old, please do not hesitate to join us! The project is funded by Bundesverband Freie Darstellende Künste Partners @play_berlin @ibdt.kids
