“I wanted to capture the energy of the city at its most celebratory: when people come together and the atmosphere feels electric.”

Meet Patrick Lightheart, the artist behind Harbourfront Centre’s new mural, A City in Celebration.

A Toronto-based contemporary artist working across photography, digital art and mixed media, Patrick is known for blending classical imagery with modern, street-inspired aesthetics, creating emotionally charged work that explores identity, resilience and community.

Unveiling this May, the mural is set to transform our waterfront into a new space for public art, shaped by the creativity of this incredible city.

Come experience the city through Patrick’s eyes. More details coming soon.

I was a lucky bidder tonight in winning the bid for lot 37, a fabulous piece by @plight007 titled Lemon Aid at the annual @snap4act in support of @aidscommitteetoronto. A special shout out to @drkevinrusselodentistry who has generously adopted this lot. This year marks the 20th anniversary of @snap4act and @td_canada is proud to be a supporter of this fine art photography auction.
