Pretty awesome to see the “Propeller One-Way Night Coach” film we made with John Travolta on the big screen at Hollywood Forever Cemetery last night as part of the Ramones 50th anniversary tribute event. Hosted by John who wrote and directed the film. And we saw Billy Idol live. Legends all around!

Catch “Propeller One-Way Night Coach” now on @appletv!

James, the writer/director, speaking here...so "director's note"...

I first started a version of Cubano as a student in 2013. Back then, it was called "Meat Miser", but I got told by everybody that that was a terrible title (maybe). I never found the hook I needed, though. What was this all about? Two hitmen making a huge mistake is funny, but what was the heart?

I came back to it almost 12 years later, a couple more films under my belt, and I found it. Cubano is a film about imposter syndrome, having difficulty realizing the sweet, simple things in life surround you, because all you can think about is making end's meet.

This project is an absolute labor of love, and I'm blessed to be working with people I love. Great collaborators that I hope I get to grow old with. Film students whose careers I hope to rub shoulders against.

I love this script, and we're making killer progress behind the scenes. Its going to be a great one.

We have 15 days left to hit our greenlight goal of 80%, and it'd mean the world to my team and I if you could donate any amount to help us achieve our dream. Every film is a stepping stone of community. Please let us grow our film family into a bigger one. We'd love for you to come on this journey with us...

-James
