He thought he had to change his life BEFORE becoming the person he wanted to be. He had it completely backwards.

Last night was lit 🔥

Shout out to everyone who turned up to perform.

And just like that, Bolton’s rap scene was created.

We brought together so many STARS from Bolton

Who knew there was this much talent?!

If you didn’t attend, you missed out!

This was the most hype and lit event that Bolton has ever had!

We will be back on the 7th October, and every first Wednesday of each month.

We’ve now created a home for Bolton talent.

Everyone built connections with each other and bonded over their shared love for music.

I’m excited for what the future holds for Bolton!

Massive thank you to @headspacebolton for letting us use their venue for the open mic

As promised, we said we’d be choosing one performer at random to win an interview with @boltonfm, and honestly… I’m so glad it’s chosen at random because it would be impossible to choose who had the best performance because they were ALLLLL SOOO AMAZING, but I can now reveal the winner for the first Open Mic is @robertablack_! @rebelrachradio could you please get in touch with @robertablack_ and get her booked on the show, thank you!

Doing the press run for @pmaccic’s Open Mic event at @headspacebolton with @boltonfm’s @rebelrachradio. Took my brothers @fabio.oconnor & @produced.by.shamschi as they’re apart of my music event I’ll be putting on next year, funded by @boltoncouncil.

Had an amazing time as always speaking to Rach, but was even better having Fabio and Shamschi with me. Big things coming!

Watch this space!

Today’s songwriting session was incredible.

We had a really honest conversation about the current state of rap music as a genre and some of the negative associations that come with it. In many ways, those criticisms are understandable. But what was encouraging was hearing how much people connected with my approach to rap.

For me, rap has always been about self-expression, healing, and giving people hope. It’s therapy. It’s a way to tell your story, process your emotions, and uplift others instead of tearing them down.

By the end of the session, people were saying we need more spaces like this, where people of all ages can express themselves in a healthy, positive way. Hearing that reminded me why I do what I do.

The participants wrote some amazing lyrics, both young and old, and I even performed a song I wrote especially for this event. It won’t be released until next year, so they got an exclusive first listen.

While I’m here, I also realised I forgot to mention something…

My new open mic night launches on 2nd September and will take place on the first Wednesday of every month.

This isn’t in a pub or a club. It’s a dedicated live music venue that doesn’t serve alcohol, so it’s completely alcohol-free.

If you’re trying to get away from drugs or alcohol, or you’re simply looking for a positive environment, this is a place where you can clear your head, connect with good people, and experience the natural high that comes from music, creativity, and community.

And there’s one more thing…

At every event, one performer will be randomly selected to win an interview with @boltonfm . The winner isn’t based on who performs “best” because this event was created to encourage collaboration, not competition.

I’d love to see you there.

Been having an amazing time inspiring the youth of Bolton during these school performances, telling them of my tumultuous journey of getting to where I am today that I’ve not even disclosed on my socials yet, I’ll let you hear it when I do my first podcast.
