One of my favorite things about being a trainer is getting to work with so many different people, personalities, and goals every single day.

They show up, put in the work, and somehow agree to do all the crazy things I throw at them. 😂💪🏼🌶️

But the best part? Watching them build friendships in the gym, push each other, hold each other accountable, and HAVE FUN while working toward their goals!

A year ago, I took the stage at the 2025 Rising Phoenix for the final competition of my 10+ year career as an IFBB Pro—and I had no idea it would be my last time competing.

It honestly feels like that moment happened in another lifetime. So much has changed since then. 😂

30 shows. 2 Olympias, 3 Arnold Classics, 2 Masters Olympias and a whole lot of years built around training, competing and chasing the next goal. Bodybuilding was such a huge personal focus for so long, and now I get to experience this sport differently—wearing my coaching hat and pouring all of those years and lessons into the athletes I coach. And I genuinely love that part of this chapter. I definitely miss sharing the stage with my IFBB Fitness girls, though. ❤️

This past year completely turned my world upside down. An ACL tear, surgery, a very long rehab and a knee that continues to keep things interesting 😂 forced me to slow down and reevaluate a LOT.

It’s changed where I put my energy, what actually deserves that energy, and what I want my life to look like moving forward. More than anything, this year showed me how incredibly lucky I am to have some really amazing people in my corner. People showed up for me in ways I never expected, checked on me, encouraged me, gave me space when I needed it and reminded me what genuine support looks like. And along the way, I learned a little about where not to spend my energy too. 😉

There’s still a lot I’m figuring out—my knee, who I am without competing, and what I want this next chapter to look like. But watching all of these moments back, I’m proud of the person I was before that injury, and I’m really proud of the person this past year has forced me to become.

Definitely not the ending I pictured for show #30 😂… but apparently life had other plans.

It’s crazy what can change in a year. ❤️

One arm, one legged challenges for each other this morning. I learned I cannot really do 1 legged TRX jumps or 1 legged anything… Props to @pmgetsfit and @metal_leg_chandler for making these very difficult exercises look easy. 🙌💪
