*Taking care of your temple, in more ways than one, is essential*

A big THANK YOU to Pilates Instructor Jocelyn, of Jocelyns PilatesLab, for guest instructing for the @mbody_fit fam clients for the month of July. Your Mat Pilates class was just what we all needed, to compliment our strength training regimine/routines.

DM @jocelyns_pilates_lab to inquire about her comprehensive pilates services. She is highly professional & most of all absolutely wonderful to work with.

Again....THANK YOU J 😘✨️💜💗💚

M'BODY'S Holiday Hustle Challenge '24 is well underway!
5 teams are practicing some healthy habits in their fitness & wellness, all while having a little fit fun, to keep unhealthy winter weight gain away.

Our #1 goal in this challenge... MAINTAIN! Most times the winter pounds are packed on because of the "hustle & bustle" of the holiday season. We let it take us away from our healthy eating & fitness routines. It also is contributed to seasonal depression for some, triggered by host of different things 🫂💗 Keeping up with your fitness regimine and balancing all of the great food and overflowing libations, can help to keep your mental & emotional health in a "good space".

Having a combination of accountability, keeping each other lifted up in good spirits and having a bit of competitive fit fun, w/a few laughs along the way - and let me tell you there have already been plenty & we only just ended week 1 🤭🤪😅 will definitley keep us on track.

Happy Holidays & let's all KEEP HUSTLING! 😉💪🏾💨☃️🎄🎋🎆

Day 1 and plenty more to go….The sign behind me, says “Choose Happy”,something I strive for daily and some days are easier than others.
*
I’m being vulnerable with sharing these pics but hopefully it motivates someone else to start the process of bettering their health.
*
This past week was certainly an emotional roller coaster for several reasons but after attending my cousin fitness competition, I left with this 🔥 in my stomach and a desire to get my health in order.
*
To see women on the stage who were older but bodies of a 20 year old, gave me so much inspiration. That morning during my doctors appt, I found out my blood pressure was high, something I deal with daily. And because I don’t want to take medication to have to sustain that, I decided it was time to get serious about my health. 227 has been my highest weight and my goal is under 200. Even if it’s 199.9999😂. I’ve lost weight before, so I know I can do it again! It’s all mental. @pnkyup4 Thank you cousin for being an inspiration. I’m making this promise to myself that in the next 60 days I will increase my water intake, cut back the sugar, cocktails 🍹, eat better and workout 3-4 a week.
*
I’ve been working on my mental and spiritual well being and now to get the physical aligned 🧘🏾‍♀️
