As always, I can never post the same day anything happens 😅 But here’s to three years of learning the gentle art and competing in my first @grapplingindustries competition as a white belt 🤍💪🏾

Your girl managed to bring home a silver medal in the light feather division after 5 exhausting matches 🥈

I came into this competition with no expectations, just wanted to put myself out there and see what I was capable of, and of course have fun!

Biggest thanks to all my friends, team and coaches at @studionw2 that came to watch, support and coach me throughout the day.

The real mvp was @freddie.aj for taking good care of me in the sidelines. ❤️

& thanks to @nillycetin for stitching up this highlight reel 🫶🏾🥹

God is so good & i’m blessed to have amazing people around me. #bjj #grapplingindustries #bjjwhitebelt

Pushing limits, building strength, and trusting in His grace. Embracing the grind, both in the gym and in my faith. 👆🏾🙏🏽#christian #gym #bibleverse #gymrat #pullups

💭Today’s brain dump: sometimes you need to allow your inner child to take over and be curious 🌻 in movement, in spaces & situations. Rest is important, and so is slowing down. But don’t remain stagnant. Past mistakes & shame can feel so heavy we stay stuck. Learn to forgive ourselves and others so we can flow and move through life. Learn from it but don’t dwell in it. The moments I do stay still is in the presence of the Lord 🕊️ have a beautiful thursday everyone 🫶🏾

I was hesitant on posting this, but i wanted to challenge my perfectionist side and allow raw videos like this on my feed. Initially I wanted to keep re-recording until I got the perfect movement or the perfect shot, & I thought about how exhausting it is to live like that. To always live for that ‘perfect’ shot. I’m happy with this take, and i’m happy my body is able to move the way it needs to. Will keep posting my fitness journey and keep the blemishes and human-ness of it there. #motivation #fitness #pistolsquat #mobility #dragonsquat
