“Blessed enough to be a part of a collective that embodies the heart of my city. @mercijamarr man I really got to be amongst the people and I couldn’t thank you and your team and sponsors enough for making that happen. The ArtWalk was beautiful, the show spectacular and the night…big success. “ -CagedBird We performed at Merci & Friends Concert and let’s just say the experience was like no other 🤩✊🏾🙏🏾 Here is once small glimpse of CagedBird actually in the crowd talking to the people through his poetry and his music! Black On Black by CagedBird on All Platforms @twistedokiebbq and @lemonlaid_lady took good care of us while we were out there too. Great food and drinks Overall the Art Walk is always a highlight of our cities rich and diverse culture and the influence of art, and how it bridges many gaps that have been created through propaganda, social injustice, misinformation and lack of understanding. Many people share similar outlets to get away from it all and this month was a marvelous display of that. Every 1st Wednesday Art Walk takes place in the downtown area starting at James Weldon Johnson Park. We recommend you come out especially if you’ve never been you will love it. #10kproductions #fyp #artwalkjax #explore #hiphop

The stage keeps calling… and this Wednesday, I’ll be answering. 🖤 I’m honored to be the Featured Friend for Merci & Friends, presented by Oqulon. If you’ve been waiting to catch me in a more intimate setting, this is one of those nights. We’ll be a part of Downtown Jacksonville’s Art Walk, where the city comes alive with local artists, music, creativity, and community. If you’re already planning to stroll through downtown, make sure you stop by and catch this set. Every poem carries a piece of the journey, and I plan on bringing every bit of that energy to the mic. Come early. Stay present. Bring somebody who needs to hear something real. 📍 Downtown Jacksonville Art Walk 🎤 Merci & Friends 🗓 Wednesday, August 5 ⏰ 5 PM – 9 PM 🎙 Featured Performance: 7:11 PM – 7:18 PM 🎧 Sounds by DJ Excel 🎙 Hosted by My’Keria Let’s make downtown feel every word. See y’all at Art Walk. 🕊️ #CagedBird #MerciAndFriends #DTJaxArtWalk #DowntownJacksonville #JacksonvilleArtWalk JacksonvillePoetry SpokenWord LivePoetry PoetryCommunity SupportLocalArtists 10KProductions DuvalArts JacksonvilleEvents
