I’m very proud and pleased that The Choir of Dissonance: The Creation of the Sea is part of the Busan Biennale!

Kinda crazy to think how this work went from a text to a performance at Nightshift, to an installation piece that’s being shown around the world!

Endless thanks to Evelyn ( @evelyn_simons ) and ( @amalandaplan ) for inviting me to this wonderful biennale, you both really outdid yourselves.

Thank you to the @busanbiennale team and specially Juwon ( @ju_woony ) for their efforts.

Today marks exactly a year since we started shooting the Underworld part of 𝕹𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝕲𝖗𝖔𝖜𝖘 𝖔𝖓 𝕾𝖆𝖑𝖙 !

Here are some behind the scenes pictures by the great @lukasgevaert whom I thank for these invaluable memories of a beautiful week ✨

A film is written, but a set can go in many different and unexpected directions - this one was a collective dream in which everything magically (aided by a lot of really hard work) fell into place. Thank you to everyone who moved heaven and earth to make this possible, on we go!!

It is with great happiness that I can announce that our film 'Nothing Grows on Salt' will have its Belgian Première at @filmfestivaloostende on the 5th of February!!

So many talented people worked incredibly hard to make this mad dream reach the screen and I am deeply, eternally grateful to all of them, THANK YOU ✨

Very excited to see you there and watch what we made on the big screen!!

It was a pleasure hosting these lovely Sundays for you the past year! 2023 is a wrap and to wrap it up we made some edits of the ambient jam we did at Beeldenstorm during the last glimpses of summer. The perfect throwback for this drizzling weather and to get you through the rest of the winter. (𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙞𝙣 𝙗𝙞𝙤)

A massive thank you to all the volunteers, artists and venues for having us! Enjoying a choir like sardines in the @kvsbrussels , washing away the change of hour in @pilarbrussels , sunbathing and looking for shelter at the @horstartsandmusic campsite, Pentecost at @mercerie.bxl , having the most lovely gardenparty at @estaminet1030 , forever loving Anton at @kiosk.radio and @lafonderie_bruxelles , putting a soundsystem in the garden, having the most unstrained Sunday at @beeldenstorm_1070 , proving @decoratelier_brussels can also be nice to enter at 10am, and last but not least making @camping58_bxl warmer as ever. Thank you for these memories, thank you for passing by and hanging with us! 🙏

Mark the 28th of January already in your agenda for the start of the new Matinée season. We can’t wait to spend our Sundays with you again and got some beautiful things planned for you next year, if we do say so ourselves. ❤️
