@hosuimatcha sample matcha taste test: Imagine a stunningly smooth brew carrying notes of warm, savory nuttiness, rounded out by a delicate, whisper-light floral finish - that's their no.xxx I would love to know which matcha is it. Sunday slowdown is a smooth escape from the monday dread. Whisked @mtch.official single cultivar yabukita today.🌿 It's crisp, savory and vegetal. Though it pairs perfectly with the choco banana bread, I need to cold whisk it next time to diminish the intense vegetal notes. 🤍 🌿 4.5g Yabukita from MTCH 🥃 @flyingtigerph ⭐️ beads and sieve @silv.stuff 🩷 bar mat and coaster @hakoandco_ (coaster gifted by bebe sis @polaxmatcha ) 🥣 @mari.potteri 🤍 beads holder gifted by sisssyyy @seijaku.matcha 🥛 @oatbedient.ph 🧹 @_simplymatcha 📿 by yours truly DM to order #sundaymood #matcha #mtch #matchaph #drinkofinstagram

Capping out another favorite and this one feels a little harder. 🥹🍵 This has become one of the hardest tins to source, so I really tried my best to make it last. I even hid it at the very back of my fridge so I wouldn’t see it. 😂 There was even a time when I whisked a cup using another matcha… but I still ended up whisking another bowl with Hoshino Seichaen Hoshi no Tsuyu. Hahaha. I’ve tried a lot of nutty, creamy, and toasted profile matchas, but this is the first one where the toasted nuttiness is this pronounced. Sabi ko nga before, it’s like drinking matcha and genmaicha in one bowl. 🤍 Dry aroma: pure toasted nuttiness. Roasted peanuts, toasted sesame, and creamy roasted grains. No grassiness at all. Honestly, if someone asked me to smell this blind, I’d probably ask, “Sigurado ba kayong matcha ’to?” 😂 With warm water (75°C): the toastiness becomes even more pronounced. It’s medium-bodied with moderate umami, natural sweetness, little to no astringency, and almost no bitterness. The roasted peanut and toasted sesame notes linger beautifully after every sip. It honestly reminds me of toasted kinako powder, adding another layer of warmth and nuttiness that makes it so comforting to drink. What I love most is that even in a latte, it doesn’t lose its character. The milk doesn’t cover up its flavor at all. That distinct toasted nut profile is still there from the first sip until the last, making every cup unmistakably Hoshi no Tsuyu. Hoshino Seichaen Hoshi no Tsuyu really left a mark on me. If I ever get the chance to get another tin, I definitely will. This is a forever repurchase for me and, as of today, it’s still my absolute favorite when I’m craving a deeply toasted, nutty matcha. 🫶🏻💚 As always, this is just my personal taste. What’s good for one may not be for another, and that’s one of the things I love most about exploring matcha. ☺️🍵 🍵 bowl from @mtch.official ⭐️coaster from @hakoandco_ gifted by @polaxmatcha 🧿 bead sifters from @artelounge.id 🫙 bead sifter holder gifted by @matcha_macallit 🔵 chasen charms from @yourmatchagirly.dmd 🥛from @kintojapan
