To the woman in front of me who took care of my coffee this morning, thank you. You have no idea how much I needed that today.💚

I think one of the most powerful things about kindness is that the person giving it often has no idea just how much the person receiving it might need it.

They don’t know what happened in your life the night before. They don’t know what you woke up carrying, what you’ve been silently struggling with, or just how heavy your heart might feel that morning.

They don’t know any of that. They just choose to be kind. Not because they know your story, not because they expect anything in return, but simply because they have goodness in their heart.

And I think that’s what makes kindness so incredibly powerful. What is merely a passing moment in one person’s day can become a moment someone else carries with them long after. You can change the entire trajectory of someone’s day without ever knowing they needed you to.

Never underestimate the difference you can make in someone’s life simply by being kind. Sometimes the smallest gestures reach the heaviest hearts.❤️

One of the things I love most about John is the way he embraces the littlest humans. He doesn’t care if they’re wiggly, curious, or need a little extra attention. He just shows up with the same gentle heart and unconditional love.💙🐾

To John, it’s just another little friend to love. To a child, it’s a moment of happiness. And to a parent, it might be the few minutes of peace they didn’t know they needed. John might think he’s just making another friend, but sometimes he’s doing so much more.❤️🐾

SOMEHOW 473 DAYS HAVE PASSED … AND ATREYU IS STILL WAITING FOR THE FOREVER THAT HE THOUGHT HE HAD 😢

Atreyu is a brave and beautiful 3 year old terrier mix with a heart as big as his spirit. He can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but give him a minute to feel comfortable and you’ll be met with soft eye gazes and a wagging tail. Atreyu knows many basic commands and loves showing off just how clever he is. He has been here since June 26, 2025 😢

Shelter Bio:
Atreyu is a brave and beautiful 3 year old Terrier mix with a heart as big as his spirit. When Atreyu first came to us as a stray, he was limping on his front leg. Thanks to the care of our medical team, he’s feeling much more comfortable now while continuing on his healing journey. Though he can be a little cautious when meeting new people, once he feels safe, his tail starts to wag, and his sweet personality shines through. Atreyu absolutely loves toys, especially a good game of tug, and he’s eager to show off his smarts with cues like “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “come.” He’s looking for an adult only home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace with someone who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. In return, you’ll gain a loyal best friend with a gentle soul, a playful spirit, and so much love to give.

A farda representa uma história que tenho orgulho de viver; mais de 20 anos servindo e protegendo. Ao meu lado o saudoso Mufasa que representa outra paixão: os animais.

Duas missões que carrego no coração: proteger as pessoas e defender quem não tem voz.
