I’ve spent years travelling to photograph places, people and wildlife. The more I see, the more I realise that being welcomed somewhere comes with a responsibility.

Give animals room. Ask before photographing people. Take your rubbish with you. Think twice before sharing the location of a rare sighting. These are small choices, but they matter to those who live there long after we’ve gone home.

This World Tourism Day, let’s travel with curiosity and leave the places we love with the respect they deserve.

Today, we witnessed a porcupine eating plastic and garbage that had been carelessly thrown outside a garbage bin. When a garbage bin is right there, why is the ground becoming a dumping ground? The bin was there, the choice to use it was ours. Animals don’t understand plastic, wrappers or waste the way we do, they simply see something they can eat and our carelessness can cost them their lives. We often call ourselves the species with superior intelligence, but intelligence means nothing without responsibility. Please use garbage bins. Reduce plastic. Dispose of waste responsibly. Let our convenience never become others' suffering.

Some places stay with you long after you leave ♥️
Been to jungle film many frames but most through jeeps but Valparai was bit different no jeep no crowds and the part is you need to climb 🫣
Imagine climbing steeps with a heavy lens a tripod but still it gifts you with precious moments in return 😌
Every frame, every light and everything in and around would be so beautiful 😍

Can’t wait to return to this paradise in search of even more awesomeness ✨
