Freshness, spice and darker aromatic facets come together in a composition that feels polished without becoming predictable. There is brightness at the start, then a deeper, more textured character begins to emerge, making Meraviglioso feel elegant, distinctive and slightly unexpected.

Not everything needs to shout to be memorable.

New Orleans fragrance lovers, put this one on your radar.

I had the opportunity to attend the private soft opening of Aromaerie, a new niche fragrance boutique on Magazine Street, and the curation is serious.

The owner walked me through the collection, shared some of his personal favorites, and introduced me to houses you’re not going to find at every fragrance counter. Some are extremely hard to find in the U.S.

And yes, I smelled Jeffery from Spiritica’s Crime Collection. Easily one of the strangest fragrances I’ve experienced so far.

If you enjoy discovering fragrance beyond the usual names, this is worth the visit.
