What lays beyond desire? When you’ve gone to the ends of the earth And to the depths of your soul When you’ve met yourself In the dream of life And awake from the world of mirrors To a new morning of eternal present Where do you go When there is nowhere to go Only everywhere to be? You go down the same road You’ve always gone You do the same thing You’ve always done But this time At last You And your fate Are One 10/15 - Turners Falls, MA 10/16 - Rochester, NY 10/17 - Cincinnati, OH 10/18 - Chicago, IL 10/19 - Milwaukee, WI 10/20 - Detroit, MI 10/21 - Pittsburgh, PA 10/22 - Lancaster, PA 10/23 - Washington County, NY 10/25 - Somerville, MA

DJ TAKEOVER: POOR RIDLEY 🍐 Local pop punk/rock outfit Poor Ridley is the project of Ridley Tankersley. His latest album, “Songs I Wrote,” is a collection of songs he wrote over a period of eight years. While Tankersley has been the backbone of this project since its inception, Collin Papenfuss and Brian Hospital have completed the current iteration of the band, bringing the music to live audiences at local venues near you. Tankersley’s songwriting is clever, absurd and incredibly wise. His lyrics are met with songs full of tonal shifts, high tempos, complete conviction and a type of composition that reaches inside you and flips a switch. ➡️ Listen to the full DJ Takeover at RadioMilwaukee.org. DJ Takeovers are sponsored by @levelupwi Poor Ridley Playlist: “Red Smoke” - Poor Ridley “White Page” - Combat Naps “Deserve” - Eli Orion “Fatalist Palmistry” - Why? “Nightingale” - Eagles “On The Bound” - Fiona Apple “Peach, Plum, Pear” - Joanna Newsom “This Must Be How...” - Owls ”Braided Streams” - Obsess Tact (Milwaukee band nomination) #localmusic #milwaukee
