POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Portico has been brewing beer since 2012, but it was until three years ago that they opened their massive taproom and outdoor space. Expect retro video games, Legos, cornhole, and delicious Mexican cuisine served up by Taqueria El Barrio.

This is a family friendly zombie stop! Thanks to support from the @eastcambbiz , we will have face painters on site to help you look your best undead self, and kids (with parents of course!) are welcome to amble on over to our next location with us.

We are honoring and remembering our lost pets this Dia De Los Muertos and we invite you to drop off a 4x6 photo of the pet(s) you carry in your heart so we can add them to our ofrenda altar. You may write something on the back of the photo that is a message to that pet, as well as bring one of their favorite treats and/or toys for the altar. You will get the toys and photos back next month when we take the altar down.

Are you one of our regulars that has moved and lost a pet? You can email us a photo we can print (please note resolution of file should handle 4x6 image size), along with a note you’d like us to add to it for your pet.

Xx

I’ve spent years asking people to show up for this mission. So this fall, I’m showing up first.

Halloween weekend, I’m heading home to Cambridge to run the half marathon on Sunday, and the 5K on Saturday if my body agrees. I’ll probably cry the whole time. No shame in it.

My goal is to raise $2,500 for Hike The Good Hike. I started this nonprofit out of my own fight against trauma and suicidal ideation, and your support helps us keep telling stories that matter.

If you can give, any amount gets me closer. If you can’t, sharing this helps too. 🙏🙏

Costumes encouraged. If you’re in the Boston area, come cheer me on and celebrate with us at Portico Brewing (@porticobrewing) in Somerville, Sunday at 12 PM.

Was the 21st annual FluffFest the best ever??? We had an amazing day in Union Square yesterday keeping #Loyal2Local celebrating Fluff and Oktoberfest.

Events like these don’t happen without all the folks that put in the hard work to organize and plan them, huge shoutout to Union Square Main Streets and Somerville Arts & Culture for creating such a fun day and all the City of Somerville staff, especially DPW and SPD who support them. 🎉🎉🎉 Mayor Wilson with Archibald Query.
