Today we are entering the fourth year in a row under the weight of war, shelling and continuous starvation on Gaza. Three full years have passed, and extermination and obscene high-proofs continue to pursue every detail in our daily lives.

I share this video with you to see the reality as it is; I still live with my family and thousands of families inside these tents that do not keep free or cold. Living here is an unbearable daily suffering; in winter we drown in mud and water, and in summer we suffocate inside fabrics that burn with the flames of the sun.

I wanted the world to know that we are still living these woes, and that the story is not over yet.

Don’t make the scene get used to forgetting our pain. Keep us in your thoughts and present in your hearts, and do not forget us.

Moshin on the National Mall. Shoutout to Caroline, Eleanor, Ward 1 Mutual Aid, all of the volunteers, everyone who made this all possible. Despite the pouring cold windy rain, we ruled the world for a few hours.

Punks came, punks raged, punks raised $1,800 for @transitionhouse_md to provide mental health resources like housing and coaching to youth in our region

This is a photo of all of us taking a nap before sweating it out on the church dancefloor, eating cupcakes, and the first-ever spaghetti wedding

LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST

Happy birthday to our dear brother Nick, who you may recognize as the goof who rocks, rolls, kicks, screams and (rarely, thankfully) moons his way through our shows as he rips bass lines so delectable you simply have to smile and bow down. Nick is such a talented guy and he brings so much joy to everything we do. He leads a great band called @drhorsedr who you must check out.

FINALLY VINYL AFTER 40 YEARS

Seize the Day (Carpe Diem)… Trust Little to Tomorrow

These photos come from the “Alternate Military Parade” concert in Dupont Circle on Armed Forces Day—May 17, 1986. Organized by @positiveforcedc

The afternoon brought together several bands working beyond the familiar boundaries of D.C. hardcore:
- 9353 (No. VA/ DC - R&B Records / @fountainofyouthrecords ) — theatrical, eerie, experimental post-punk.
- Beefeater (@dischordrecords / Olive Tree Records) — politically charged, funk-driven post-hardcore.
- 11th Hour (No. VA) — lean, melodic post-punk edge arpeggios.
- Mourning Glories (DC - Lidia Husik, @Peterhayes , Mitch Parker (GI)) — raw, melodic punk and early indie rock.
- Grey March (Baltimore - Unconscious Records) — brooding, atmospheric post-punk,psychedelic undercurrents.
- Carpe Diem (DC / MD - Idiot Music Inc. / Numero Group) — urgent, melodic indie rock rooted in harDCore punk.
- Tarakahn (no documented label release) — an elusive local punk band whose music remains largely undocumented.

We were so delighted to be on stage with bands that we loved in our beloved DC scene.

Carpe Diem’s songs from that time originally circulated on only fifty cassettes.

Now, remastered from the original @InnerEarStudios recorded by @donzientara and produced by Ian Mackaye, Trust Little to Tomorrow finally has the vinyl life we dreamed about as teenagers.
