‘Postcards from Tamenglong & Pimpalgaon’, 2021
Curated Photographs, letters in a Zine

“During the height of the pandemic, two girls nestled in two different corners of India had chanced upon each other through magical encounters and found an instant bond. This bond that channelled beyond their first meet and across 2,805.8 km, to be precise, spoke to them to write postcards to each other of the places they were in, and so they photographed and wrote. Pournima writes about Pimpalgaon, a village in Maharashtra, and Anna writes about Tamenglong HQ, a town in Manipur. While writing to each other, they find wistful similarities in their relationship with the land and the people. A conflicted relationship yet filled with an abundance of love and gratitude.”

Guilty jury or guilty hosts?
Were words twisted, or were lies told?
Did note-takers fail or were clues hidden?

You decide.

Session 4: Where did the murder weapon even come from? 🏌️
What was the motive?
Why do some jury members know too much? Why hasn’t this case been solved yet?
And why is it giving Arushi Talwar? 🌀

Apparently, our jury had some answers. (Not really)
🗣️ to @desicrime for joining the chaos!

Session 2: Chaos, conviction, and questionable characters.
Things got loud, theories got interesting and let’s just say, “good mother” didn’t make the cut.
Watch how it all went down. 🎬

Metal baseball bat.. why? 🤷

Detectives? Check.
Drama? Double check.
Jury Day got spicy with hardware-store murder weapons, tangled love affairs, and theories wilder than your favorite soap.
Verdicts were served-extra crispy. 🌶️

Sure, our jury can dissect motive, means, and opportunity—but can they conquer a tongue twister without losing credibility?
We gave them the ultimate trial-by-words, and let’s just say… the results were criminal.

Faces of Judgement!
Presenting The Jury for session 2. They made the cut. Now they’ll make the calls.
May the best hot take win. 🥵
