@poweredbycheesecake_ The summer softly
Ioosens her grip, the Autumn breeze gently pulls you close.
And the sun, always the constant, caresses your skin with its tender warmth.
This just may be the most perfect time of year...🍂🍁🚴‍♀️✨👋🍀

One of my favorite places to visit when I’m in town - @beckhamsbookshop . This is how I love my used bookstores…big, sprawling and packed to the brim with so many interesting finds. And if that wasn’t enough, Joni the resident cat is ready and waiting for your cuddles and to offer suggestions on your next great read…

This is Sarah Wolff (@sarahwolff116 ). I met her in Chicago on a chilly autumn day while she was working at an outdoor souvenir stand on the riverwalk. I loved the way she looked bundled up and had to take a picture…

Something I am trying to do with my vintage film camera is showcase the wonderful people I meet in my travels. This is Valerie Wozniak. She is an incredibly talented artist in New Orleans who makes the most beautiful hand dyed scarfs and fabrics in the Shibori method. Valerie is an avid traveler and takes inspiration for her creations from the vibrant colors and patterns she sees on her trips to places like Japan, Morocco, Peru and Bali. It was such a pleasure to have met her…she is truly a beautiful human. If you are ever in New Orleans, stop by @dutchalley and see the work of Valerie and the other amazing artists there…

Christine was in the middle of a 100 mile bike ride and needed a break from the hot sun, so she rode to the Grundy County Corn Festival. She had such a great time! She cooled off in the shade with a lemonade, met lots of great people, and even won a prize at a carnival game. On the way home she got to enjoy a beautiful sunset which was the perfect way to end the fun day. 🍁🍂☺️

Christine’s bike is a Trek Marlin 5 named Gertie. They’ve ridden almost 11,000 miles together in the past five years 🚴‍♀️😍

@rideillinois, @workingbikes, and @bikepointz are collaborating on this positive, empowering campaign to encourage and celebrate the use of bicycles for everyday trips 👏🏿👏🏽👏🏻

Taken on a bike ride with my vintage Pentax K1000 film camera. In all the thousands of miles I have ridden out in the country, this was the first time I’ve come across sunflowers. It was a wonderful surprise…

Antique railroad lantern in the autumn sunset - Kendall County, IL
I purchased the lantern at an antique store, got it working again, and drove around looking for the right photo op. Then this moment came together. I had to wade in three feet of muddy water to get the shot, but totally worth it.
