the other day I was listening to @candice.coppola podcast - @powerinpurpose & she was talking about failure in business & the positive mindset around that idea - highly recommended listening.

& then she said something that hit me — preparation mode is procrastination.

this goes with progress over perfection. doing something before it’s exactly how you want it. or start before you’re ready. being uncomfortable.

choosing discomfort is where the growth comes.

& I thought 🤔- she’s right. i do a lot of things in my business that are “comfortable” or wait to do something because it’s not “perfect”

she also notes, “version one is how every meaningful thing in your life started” …

I’m feeling a little emotional writing this 🥹

The Power in Purpose podcast just hit 200 episodes!! It’s such a big milestone, and that number represents so much more than consistency or content.

It represents choosing to show up when it felt scary.

Sharing my thoughts before I felt “ready.”

Hitting publish even when I worried about sounding dumb, being misunderstood, or not knowing where this would lead.

When I started this podcast in 2018, I truly didn’t know if anyone would listen. I just knew I had something to say and a deep desire to talk honestly about building a business that supports a real life.

Somewhere along the way, this stopped being “just a podcast” and became a space for big conversations, quiet moments, hard truths, hot takes, and the parts of entrepreneurship no one really prepares you for.

And none of this exists without you. 😭

If you’ve ever listened on a walk, in the car, while cooking dinner, or during one of those “what am I even doing?” seasons in your business, I want to thank you. Your presence here has mattered more than you know.

To celebrate episode 200, I shared 23 lessons I wish every wedding pro knew. Lessons about confidence, boundaries, money, leadership, nervous system regulation, and what actually creates momentum in this industry.

Still pinching myself ✨

When I first stumbled across @candicecoppola’s podcast years ago, I was instantly hooked. I would listen to the @powerinpurpose every single Tuesday morning and dream of what it would be like to have her as my coach, to have someone with her wisdom, fire, and encouragement in my corner.

Fast forward to today, and I’m living that dream. Not only is Candice my business coach, she is pushing me, cheering me on, and uplifting me in ways I didn’t even know I needed—but now I get the honor of being a guest on her podcast.

Oh yeah… I also casually flew to Barbados to learn from her in person 🌴 and walked away with a fire in my heart and the beginnings of planning my very own retreat. There’s just something about being in the room at in-person masterminds have a way of pulling out the very best ideas, the bravest dreams, and the boldest next steps. ✨
