Here is the poster of our short film “ Happy Anniversary”

Happy Anniversary” is the story of a modern couple navigating the chaos of everyday love.

From sweet little moments to big unnecessary fights, they keep circling through the ups and downs of being together.

It’s about how two people, in all their differences, find balance, discover each other’s rhythm, and stumble their way toward harmony—like yin and yang, shiv and shakti.

A seemingly calm pond can contain unsettling currents much like the emotional struggles and turmoil in family dynamics

Investing in a film and putting it out there in the market is akin to investing in a startup with a quick turnaround and exit strategy.

“At the age of 15, I did my first theatre. Tabhi mujhe ehsaas ho gaya tha ki mujhe kahaniyon aur kirdaaron se judna hai. The stage felt like a home. And it wasn’t about stardom or to show anything to anyone. It was a spiritual experience jiski wajah se ek journey ki suruwat hue. Moreover, I was an introvert. I tried to fit into the friends groups in the school, but I couldn’t succeed. As a consequence, mai har kisi ke sath tha, lekin mere sath koi nahi tha. The stage filled that vacuum in my life, and I took theatre seriously.

For graduation, I took admission in Ram Lal Anand College, Delhi University. Unfortunately, mere college me theatre group nahi tha. I took the initiative and worked on forming a theatre society. We named it Hasratein. By the time I left college, the theatre society had become quite popular.

After graduation, I enrolled in FTII, Pune. But due to administration negligencies, things got delayed. So, I started working in the Kingdom of Dreams. I worked on plays like ‘Chintiyon ka shor’, ‘Dhanraj’, Into the Light’, etc. I involved myself in the overall filmmaking process and made some short films. After some time, I realised I was stuck making serious films. It felt like a comfort zone to me.

And as you know, the comfort zone is never good for an artist. So, I challenged myself and made Flat No. 404, a semi-commercial short film. The film is crazy and chaotic, i.e., opposite my personality. The film is about modern relationships and the chaos in contemporary society. We have talented professional actors like Tushar Pandey, Kriti Vijj, Radha Bhatt, Ammi, Monika Kohli, Rajesh Gandhi, and Dhruv in the film. Ammi had an incredible experience while shooting the movie. Usually, Russian actors are used for dance or sexuality in an Indian film. But in Flat No. 404, she is the protagonist. Initially, it was tough for us to get along creatively, but after the shoot, she realised the excellent work she had done and was overwhelmed working with us.

Do watch the film on HumaraMovie.
