Action shot of our CNC router. This is an 1/8” 2 flute cutting the counterbores In a batch of knife handles. We get asked a lot why we use the router for most handle materials and it comes down to spindle speed. Our router is capable of 25,000 RPM as opposed to 10,000-13,000 RPM on a CNC mill. What this means is we can run the machine at a faster feed rate to get parts finished in about half the time so you save money! If you are interested in having your handles or any other parts machines please email us at info@precisionedgemfg.com thanks!
