Once a Falcon always a Falcon!🧡

Blessed to have had the opportunity to Meet with President Rogers. He is the embodiment of kindness, and enthusiasm! He's one of the reasons that I loved my time at Bowling Green State University so much!

Dr. Rogers asked why I wanted to Represent Bowling Green on the Miss Ohio Stage, the answer was simple, because it felt like home. 🧡

BGSU Served as such a beautiful chapter of my life. I chose BG for their compassion, especially after losing my dad. When visiting BGSU Firelands I felt a sense of home and a feeling of family. Then when my Nana fell ill, and I cared for her in the middle of the night, while still pursuing my degree, it was that same kindness that helped us get through a deep valley in our journey.

Being Miss Bolwing Green, served as such a beautiful close to a 7 year chapter of earning my Associate's of Science and Bachelor’s of Neuroscience. I have such gratitude for the Kindness of others during my time as a Falcon.

Officially Signing off as Miss Bowling Green!

Love,
Kalli Gregory

A message from @pres_rogers, Dr. Sandra Earle, Coach @eddiegeorge2727, @bgsufalconmarchingband Director Jon Waters, @bgfalconhockey Coach Dennis Williams, @bgfalcons Athletic Director Derek van der Merwe, ahead of one of the biggest weekends of events in Bowling Green history. #AYZIGGY Falcon Family,
This Oct. 16-18, Bowling Green will host one of the biggest weekends of events in our history, with something for everyone: music, including Broadway stars, sports, food, science, art and entertainment.
On Friday, celebrity magician Daniel Martin will be on campus for his new tour, following appearances on Netflix, CBS, and more. The nationally ranked BGSU Hockey team will be home Friday and Saturday at the Slater Family Ice Arena. We'll also have art and music shows, including the New Music Festival, a planetarium showing, and more.
On Saturday, BGSU Football is home against Ball State following back-to-back MAC wins with a halftime performance by the largest college marching band in the country. Tailgates start in the morning. Men's Rugby is also home Saturday at the Roger Mazzarella Rugby Field.
We're especially looking forward to Saturday night's, "An Evening of Broadway Songs and Stories:
Ali Ewoldt and Phil Reno," hosted by Arts for All. Ali Ewoldt starred in Broadway's "The Phantom of the Opera," "Les Miserables," and "The King and I," and Phil Reno is a Broadway music director, conductor and two-time Grammy-nominated producer of original cast recordings.
Most of the events are free for all students, but arrive early for non-ticketed events, which are first come, first served! More information can be found at bgsu.edu/familyweekend. Bowling Green is nationally recognized for the student experience, and we hope you'll take advantage of a great fall weekend in Bowling Green.
Ay Ziggy Zoomba!

The University’s national feature in @Bloomberg news comes on the heels of Bowling Green State University President Rogers’ rallying vision for our learning community in his 2026 State of Our University: “This Moment. Our Moment.”

In his words:
“This is absolutely our moment… and this work… well it is mighty. In the words of the Forward Falcons song…

‘Hold up the fame of our mighty name’… each of us are the ‘mighty’ We are individuals who believe working together creates a brighter future for not just ourselves but for others……our students, the research that we conduct, the creative works that are presented, the way in which we do our work that has a ripple impact throughout Ohio and the Midwest.

Thank you for the work you do, every day, to make that possible. Let us be determined to look into our future and be a role model for our nation of what a public university for the public good can achieve. This moment, our moment...”
