Jesus’ Ascension into Heaven.

This is such a special lesson I got from @preschoolsos a few years ago.

We first read the story of when Jesus returned to his disciples after His death on the cross and Resurrection. Then we talked about how we can be Jesus’ disciples too and tell others about His love and sacrifice and how we can be with Him in Heaven if we believe.

We added a little Science Lesson learning about how a Pulley System Works. As the children pulled the strings apart, it caused a force to move Jesus upward on the string into the clouds. The children loved it and even asked to play with it during Free Choice Time. ❤️😊✝️🙌

Thank you, Holley for this wonderful Visual for the children! I will continue to use it year after year.

I love you “berry” much! Strawberry theme day!!

We had such a sweet day with some strawberry sensory play, frozen strawberry water play, making chocolate covered strawberries for a sweet treat, practicing some adding, and playing with some dough! 🩷🍓❤️🍓

God always knows what we need, when we need it! And in our case, He knew who we needed! During Covid I came across @preschoolsos Instagram account and saw she had a blog. When I read it, I was astonished not only at what a gifted teacher and writer she was, but amazed at how much we had in common!!! Something stirred in my heart and I decided to reach out and we struck up an online conversation. We totally hit it off and now that one conversation has lead to one of the most meaningful friendships I have had in my whole life.

Holley, you are a treasure! I joke that she is my “Coteacher” because I use her ideas and products on TPT (Check them out! They are AMAZING!) nearly every day! Through all the help you give me in the classroom, to being my prayer partner, to the sharer of every funny, tragic, emotional, crazy story in our lives, we have been blessed by God to become the best of friends!

I thank God for you every day! Happy Birthday, Dear Holley! I pray this day is a special one for you! Love you so much! I know the day will come when we get to meet in person! Everybody in the airport better get out of my way because I am going to be running to give you the biggest hug! Or you better have that RV parking ready for Bob and me! 😂❤️🥳 Remember, Calories don’t count on your birthday! 😋

“Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.”

About two hours after the lesson a little girl was washing her hands and sang “Just keep Smiling, you don’t need to fear because God is always near” to her. Own sweet tune. 🎵 I asked her if that was a song she had heard and she said that she made it up. 🥹❤️
Never underestimate how the Lord can use a lesson to reach these little hearts. 💞 🙌🙏🏻

Materials Needed:
Baking Soda
🍏Vinegar
🍎 apple seeds or black beans (we used both)
🫙a jar to put everything in
💧Warm water

For this activity:
fill your jar(s) about 2/3 full with warm water
🍏add baking soda (at least 2-3 tablespoons)
🍎add apple seeds or black beans
💧add vinegar (1-2 tablespoons)

This was such a fun object lesson to do with my daughter! It was hands-on and she loved seeing the change happen right before her eyes. We had fun talking about how the beans & seeds were “jumping for joy”! ✨

We loved doing this activity on our @tinylandus mud kitchen! My kids loved washing the beans in the mud kitchen afterwards. 👏🏼
