“Even When I’m Gone I Still Carry You With Me” home video in tandem with both of my theses—clips are from interviews for my anthropologic thesis, videos from the shelter I lived as a child, videos from adolescence and videos from my years at Bard … all times where I felt at “home.”

Every time I watch this video I cry and I am grateful to carry all the homes I’ve had, have, and will have in the future .. so much love forever to those who make me feel that way 🫶

I have officially completed my joint senior thesis at Bard College and I couldn’t be more relieved!!! An art exhibition and a 68 page anthropology paper on my thoughts and consideration of caricature. I am very proud of myself and EVERYONE who helped me! Thank you to my advisors, Rebecca Morgan and Andrew Bush, my wonderful peers who helped me install and provided consistent feedback, and of course my parents for birthing me and always supporting my academic/artistic endeavors. This experience was so important for me as a developing young person, I’ve learned so much! Thank you to EVERYONE who came to see my show, especially those from far away! Thank you for your time, patience, attention, and considerations. It means more than anyone will ever know. Close ups of the pieces will be posted soon! And I do plan on continuing the story of the ninnies, probably through comics :) See you at graduation!!! See you at the next show🤫

Art Skool ⭐️💗
Me @preshdraws and @autumn.nightfall have officially passed our moderation boards and are accepted into the Upper College in the Bard studio arts program!!’ I was losing my mind this entire week and had at least 3 meltdowns over the stress of it all. I know eventually when I’m old and accomplished I will laugh at how serious I took a glorified undergrad crit, but I feel like it’s such a milestone for all Bard studio arts majors and the mania is also a part of the fun! Thank you to everyone who helped me set up when I was running late, my advisor @rebeccamorgan10 for always having my back, my parents for shipping all my work up North and of course my FRIENDS and PEERS that I shared this experience with, people who have always offered me their eye and thoughts on my own work. It can only make me better!! Close ups of some of these pieces soon :)
