🎬💜 EMPOWER 2026 | DAY ONE, THAT’S A WRAP! ✨

We came together as HS warriors, but we left feeling seen, heard, empowered, and reminded that OUR STORIES HAVE POWER. 🥹💜

Ending the day with the Naked HS Truth documentary was emotional. Every testimony was a reminder of why patient advocacy matters. Behind every HS diagnosis is a REAL person, a REAL journey, and a voice deserving to be heard. 🫶🏽 @hsopenwounds @blu_hefner1015 @whoisivanna @fatgirlaip @brindley_brooks

🏆 A huge congratulations to AHSID @theahsid and HS Connect, @hsconnectorg recipients of the Incyte Ingenuity Award! @incyte Advocates, nonprofits, and healthcare professionals interested in creating meaningful change in the HS community, this is your reminder to explore this year’s application opportunities!

And before we called it a night, we celebrated, laughed, and embraced something equally important: REST IS PART OF ADVOCACY TOO. 🧘🏽‍♀️✨

Living with hidradenitis suppurativa is physically and emotionally demanding. Sometimes, showing up is an accomplishment all by itself. To every warrior who did, I’M SO PROUD OF YOU! 💜

Special thanks to HS Connect, @hsconnectorg UCB, @ucb_usa Novartis, @novartis and Incyte @incyte for helping make this unforgettable experience possible.

As your HS Bestie, HS Baddie & HS Sistaaa, I’m forever grateful to turn my pain into purpose alongside this community. 🥹

DAY TWO, HERE WE COME! 🎥🔥

POV: You run late, but you still make it to a weekend filled with purpose, connection, and community!
My introduction to the AHSID @The
AHSID Abassador Retreat started a little later than planned
, but I’m so grateful
I made it!
There’s something special about being part of an organization that pours so much into the HS community. From the incredible accommodations to the thought and care put into creating this experience, I’m reminded that this work is about more than awareness. It’s about making people feel seen, supported, and experience, I’m reminded that this work is about more than awareness. It’s about making people feel seen, supported, and valued
Grateful to AHSID for the opportunity to be part of this community and for investing in the people behind the diagnosis. This is just the beginning... come along with me for the weekend! @ivannaespy | HS Advoca @SadiehwiththesilentH

WELCOME TO THE UCB HS POWERHOUSE SUMMIT 2026! 🔥 @ucb_usa

Y’all, this is MORE than a summit to me! 😭💜

In August 2024, Chaquira traveled from NYC to UCB headquarters, not knowing she was about to find her PURPOSE, her VOICE, and most importantly, her FAMILY! 🫂

Two years later, I’m walking through those same doors surrounded by warriors who watched me grow from a PATIENT ➡️ WARRIOR ➡️ ADVOCATE ➡️ YOUR HS BESTIE, HS BADDIE & HS SISTAAAA! 💅🏽💜

To every warrior who embraced me, believed in me, and celebrated every milestone, YOU ARE THE REASON I KEEP GOING! 🥹💜

👏🏽 HUGE SHOUTOUT TO UCB @ucb_usa AND THE ENTIRE TEAM! Thank you for creating a POWERHOUSE where our stories matter, our voices are HEARD, and our LIGHT continues to shine for warriors who haven’t found theirs yet! 🕯️💜

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN PAIN TURNS INTO PURPOSE AND COMMUNITY BECOMES FAMILY! 🧩

ATL, you were EVERYTHING. 💜✨

The POWER HOUSE UCB HS Summit was such a beautiful reminder of what community truly means. Watching the HS community come together, support one another, and truly thrive while living with a chronic illness is something I’ll never take for granted.

The laughter, the smiles, the hugs, the stories, and just being surrounded by people who get it… it was everything and more. 🥹💜 There’s something so powerful about being in a room where you don’t have to explain yourself because your community already understands.

Thank you, UCB, for bringing us together, for giving us a space to connect, grow, laugh, and feel seen. Most importantly, thank you for continuing to fight for the HS community and for believing in us. 💜

Forever grateful for this experience and for every Warrior I got to share it with. 🫶🏽✨

I’ve been waiting in anticipation since the first day I heard her sing this song. 🥹👑

Now it’s finally here: “I Am More” by @aliramsaier

And let me tell y’all… the snippet I used in this video? That’s only the tip of the iceberg.

This is not my story alone. So many of us have walked this road seemingly alone, carrying things people couldn’t see, trying to find our way through the hard chapters.

But somewhere along the way, we found something greater.
We found strength. We found purpose. We found each other. And for me, I found God in the middle of it all.

Now y’all gotta go listen💜💜#hidradenitissuppurativa #chronicillness #mentalhealth #advocate #ucbhssummit2026

Last weekend we traveled to Atlanta for the UCB HS 'PowerHouSe' Summit, but what we'll remember most isn't the agenda or the activities. It's the people.

Warriors sharing their lived experiences. Healthcare professionals listening and sharing their challenges too. Advocates coming together. Old friendships growing stronger and new ones beginning.

For a condition that can make people feel incredibly isolated, there is something powerful about being in a space where you feel seen, heard, understood and LOVED.

That’s what made this weekend special.

The 'PowerHouSe' wasn't the place...it was the people inside it. 💜
