💛 In respect of International Women’s Day, we honour the generations of women whose labour, skill, and creativity built these practices. Once pushed to the margins as “women’s work,” textile practices are being reclaimed as art forms rooted in deep skill, cultural significance, and creative voice.
Women’s work: hard, skilled, real work. Deserving recognition, respect, because we make it work.
NOW ON EXHIBIT! ✨ March 4 – April 11 Threads of Imagination showcases the vibrant work of the Textile Collective of BMFA, and more celebrating the rich, ever evolving language of textile art.
