Different paths, one shared truth - rooted in nature. 🌿

From a running community to an off-grid retreat in Sri Lanka, these five founders are rethinking what it means to live well.

@gravitateworld, @thenaturallifestylist, @theclifflodge, @primalgathering and @pippagrange are each approaching it differently, through movement, nature, regenerative experiences and a stronger sense of connection.

But there’s a common thread running through all of them: a desire to step back from the noise, spend more time outdoors and reconnect with what actually matters.

Whether it’s building a nationwide running community, creating spaces to live more naturally or leaving the land better than they found it, their work challenges the idea that wellbeing is just another thing to optimise.

Because maybe living well isn’t about adding more to our lives. It’s about reconnecting with the things we’ve lost along the way.

Not escaping modern life. Rebuilding what it’s missing.

Starting a dance is starting a fire 🔥

Your spark is where it comes from.

If you strike too hard too soon, you break up the kindling.

It requires attention, tuning in to what/who you’re working with.

Sensing what the kindling needs, and which strands are likely to set everything/one else alight.

Once you’ve got your first flame, that flame needs to be tended to, protected, encouraged in its dance to meet the other strands/people.

The beginning of the fire is a vulnerable place, there needs to be a safe container for the blaze to emerge.

With the right support, the dancing flames meet, heat, and spark the others, until separate entities burn as one.

The fire/dance has emerged, you can feel it.

Your relationship to the fire then changes, you are in service, feeding it - you don’t control it, the fire burns itself.

All you can do is witness, support and be charged by its warmth.

The fire/dance then alchemises all of the material tension into thin air, spirit radiates outwards as light.

Feed it the right logs at the right time and it will keep you warm and alive all through the night.

As the dance subsides, you can see it in the glowing embers, a magical expression of gratitude for the shift that has been collectively created.

And within that, there is peace.

Four founders. Some of the biggest organisations in the world. One shared realisation.

@richwelch, @annadreammaria, @calypsobarnumbobb and @jennysimeone had all worked inside organisations like Unilever, Nike, the UN, J&J, Nestlé and ASOS.

They’d seen what happens when purpose becomes part of the language of a business, without necessarily changing how the business actually works.

For some, it was watching meaningful ideas get reduced to campaigns and photographs. For others, it was trying to push change from inside systems that weren’t built to move.

Eventually, they all stepped away.

And what came next was different.

@utuskincare, @primalgathering, @peoplelikeusretreats and MANON were built from the things they felt were missing: integrity, community, connection and the freedom to actually build around their values.

Sometimes getting closer to the people with power doesn’t mean you have more power to change things.

Sometimes you have to leave the system to build something different.

Deep breath! This one feels huge, and I'm so excited to share it…

Zofia Page and I have been working on this film "River Pilgrim" for over a year, and are so excited to be hosting a private pre-release screening next month at Primal Gathering, whose values truly align with this feature documentary.

This is a film deeply rooted in land connection, local action and measurable environmental change; both through everyday action, and systemic change.

There is so much to say about the film itself which will be released in early March, 2027 but I'll save much of that for future posts, for now though I'll say this..

In a time of grandiosity and misinformation, I feel like we need (now more than ever) accessible films that speak of and inspire action, even small, local action like becoming a guardian of a natural entity near where you live.

I personally love Primal Gathering. I've been many times and feel a deep alignment with it, so I've got a bespoke ticket link for £240, available only through the link in my bio.

Join us at Primal Gathering on 2-4 October, where you’ll learn to forage wild mushrooms, tend fire, practise bushcraft, plant trees, explore the intricacies of organic farming, run a sacred business and transform tension into connection. Every evening closes the same way: a foraged harvest banquet, followed by Celtic folk music carrying us into the dark.

Giving thanks to each and every being involved in conceiving and materialising @medicinefestival

Something ancient already alive upon arriving to the land @wasing1759 was stirring and remembering… this sacred yarning to return to earth was nurtured over the days of the festival and beyond.

Thank you to @primalgathering and @trust.yournature … working with them feels so aligned.

So grateful for the many encounters, each touching my heart in unique ways.

To my friends and family for your support and presence during the Workshop and the Bazar… sharing Alchemy of Colour and the practice of natural dying with all my passion and devotion is possible because of you.

To the plants for being my teachers and to the divine spirit of creation, I thank you!

As the integration continues I feel reignited and inspired through connection with soul family and I know it ripples far and wide 🙏✨

🌹Colonialism and patriarchy ...
induce a feeling of power over, less than, inequality,low self worth, competition, voicelessness,guilt,lack,fear and broken trust between nations and people.

We need clarity and understanding to work through this. To drop the masks. To feel our truth: into you, me, see.

We need to stop dressing up as Priestesses and Kings and be authentic. Drop the mask. Be less defensive, assuming and judgmental, based on our own fears, past traumas and insecurities. Be curious and neutral.

We personally need to release, regulate and seek support in this journey of decolonisation with others, not hold it alone. That's when it gets dangerous.

Im The only Irish women sleeping on the earth of the Heart of the Rose Festival lands since May, in my bell tent, a 10-minute walk from the stone that marks where the Conservative Party was established. I feel the energies and it can shift the energetics of the world!

As we call the Brothers of the Rose to join us, we're intending and praying for more understanding and union between genders. But to do that, we need to face colonialism and patriarchy.
There are times we have been completely lost in past generational patternings moving and living through us, not knowing what is truth, what is our trigger, and what is past generational trauma, habits and patterns playing through our dynamics.

I find myself seeking proof of stereotypes: that he's siphoning my energy, not asking for consent, not caring for me, not being aware of my sensitivity and moon time. An assumption of a trauma response, instead of asking a curious question and realising it was a misunderstanding but some times its not!
A powerful question arose: Are awakened wise women innately more connected to Divine Source and nature than men?
Some men feel micromanaged de masculinated.
The women feel unsafe unheard- we must clear the conditioning to meet in Union and harmony for future generations.

It's kind of impossible to put this week into a reel. But here goes...

Medicine Festival gave us a week we're still digesting for sure, faeirie music, connection, dance,stories shared, & even a workshop unlocking fellow stortellers (thanks for all your work and trust @primalgathering

Being in a tribe of Irish brought over to inject some craic and mischief into a space that could be mistaken for tanking itself too seriously... artists, musicians, poets, medicine bringers, all woven into this wider community.
& what an honour to stand among such a group carrying healing energies for ourselves, for our own community, and for the communities around us, with the equinox blowing us all open before hand ✨️

The story of Airmed, goddess of herbalism was present and felt so relevant... her grief after losing her brother Miach. A brother and sister torn apart, in a world where that keeps happening. Brothers and sisters not able to stand together.

Somehow, that story gave us a way to knit ourselves back together. To lean on masculine strength and feminine softness for the weekend. To make medicine for each other, each sister and each brother.

Grá mór @markwilliams for pulling me on stage again to tell another heartfel tale during a powerful poetic Celtic sharing from around the isles and for sharing such a strong message during highlight of the festival where @kila_official blew the top off the maim stage and brought "exstatic dance" back to going buck wild and pure native! Such Grá for all of Éire
