Prime Barbecue: Another highly requested place to visit by my fans, Prime is Michelin recognized and serves Texas style bbq. I showed up on a weekday, about 30 min after they opened, and there was already a line out the door. The wait ended up being about a hour but I eventually rolled with the brisket, turkey, beans, baked potato and the macaroni and cheese. I appreciated how they gave you a sample of the brisket while waiting in line. Overall, I thought the food was excellent. The turkey and brisket were some of the best I have had. I also loved the beans and the baked potato. The cornbread was a little more cake like than I would prefer and the Mac and cheese was kinda average. Waiting in line for as long as I did is a little bit of a deterrent from going back but the food was so good. They also have daily specials that looked good. 9.3/10

Wilders is grateful to be featured in the October 2026 issue of Carolina Cattle Connection as part of their spotlight on Wagyu! 🥩

Our article takes a look back at the Got to Be N.C. Chef Weekend at our farm, where chefs from across North Carolina gathered to experience Wilders Wagyu firsthand. From touring the farm and learning about how we raise our cattle to sharing meals featuring our 100% Fullblood Wagyu beef and Berkshire pork, the weekend brought chefs, producers, and partners together around a shared passion for quality food and North Carolina agriculture.

Thank you to Carolina Cattle Connection for sharing this experience and helping us tell the Wilders story, and to the chefs and partners who made that weekend possible!

🔥 We’re cooking up something for this Sunday…

We’re excited to welcome Christopher Prieto of @primebbq to Praise Church!

Christopher is the 2025 James Beard Semifinalist for Best Chef: Southeast and the champion pitmaster behind MICHELIN Bib Gourmand-awarded Prime Barbecue in Knightdale, NC. He’s also a cookbook author, TV personality, BBQ evangelist, and lover of all things ‘cue.

His journey in barbecue has taken him across the country, from more than a decade on the professional competition circuit to stages including BBQ Brawl, Chopped, BBQ Pitmasters, and Man Fire Food.

But Christopher’s story is about so much more than barbecue. This Sunday, he’ll be sharing his story, his faith, and how God has used something he loves to open doors for relationships and ministry.

THE FULL NELSON. Dare you to try it.

Beef rib, house-made sausage, pulled pork, slaw, pickled onion, and house sauce piled high and made with love, of course.
