This Saturday is #WorldMentalHealthDay! 🌍🌟

The theme for this year is ‘Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change’, a reminder of how important it is to make space for open conversations about mental health. 🧠

At KC Media, we prioritise wellbeing all year round through flexible, hybrid working as well as making use of the fantastic wellness classes and facilities at our office space. 🧘🏽‍♀️ 🏋🏼‍♂️

We are also proud members of The Printing Charity giving our team 24/7 access to resources when things feel a little overwhelming or heavy. 💚

Shout out here too to She*t for Brains (now ‘The One’) who are doing important work raising awareness, providing support, and sharing guidance around mental health and wellbeing.

So, if you catch us having a natter over a coffee today, know that we’re doing important work!

How does your business make space for people to be heard? ☕️

Huge congratulations to our spectacular team members Jack and Katie!

Earlier this month, they had the honour of attending the House of Lords for the @printingcharity Rising Star Awards 2026 and both came home as winners!

Thanks to this award, they’ll be taking their careers to the next level with specialised training.
✏️Jack will be studying Illustration
📈 Katie will be studying Information & Graphic Design

We couldn't be more proud of their hard work and dedication to the print industry.

What a whirlwind trip to London's House of Lords for the @printingcharity's 2026 Rising Star Awards ceremony 🇬🇧🎉 Westminster is not a place I ever thought I'd end up, much less take a seat at (wee jokes, I mean an actual sit-down in front of the Thames).

It was a joy to meet the other winners, who have talents all across the industry – print, publishing, paper, distribution, editing, software, and more – and the judges, philanthropists, and TPC staff who made the award possible.

Huge thank you again to @printingcharity for selecting me and for covering my travel to London. I look forward to what's to come!

Thursday was a proud evening for Art Angels.

Many congratulations to our creative team members Emily May-Gordon and Madison Powlesland, who received 2026 Rising Star Awards from The Printing Charity at an awards ceremony held at the House of Lords.

The awards celebrate outstanding emerging talent across the print, publishing and graphics industries, supporting winners with professional development that will help them grow their careers. Emily and Maddie will both be undertaking further creative training over the coming months, and we couldn’t be happier to see their dedication and potential acknowledged.

Congratulations to you both – a thoroughly deserved achievement.

We spoke to Neil Lovell, CEO of the Printing Charity, to get his immediate thoughts on this year’s Rising Stars Awards, which were presented at a relaxed ceremony at London’s House of Lords #risingstars #theprintingcharity #print #printindustry #nextgenworkforce

Delighted beyond words to have won the 2026 @printingcharity Rising Star Award! 🌟📖 The Award will fund training and upskilling in book production and more, with mentoring for my move into publishing.

When I first launched Elkheart Editorial in 2022, I couldn't have imagined what it would become. Alongside my writing and editing work, I will be spending this year getting to know publishing (post-text), improving on marketing, and solidifying the business's expansion.

Thank you so much again to @printingcharity for selecting me. I'm off soon to celebrate with the other Rising Star winners at the House of Lords in Westminster (the invite came in a gold envelope, a lovely touch!)
