Four years in with @privat.security , and I’ve just led my first team downrange “away from home”.

I’ve always played it safe, but deep down I’ve never been conventional. I probably would never have put myself forward for something like this, but Privat pushed and believed in me, and for that I’m grateful.

If I’d sat around waiting for the “right time,” or “worked my way up”with another firm, it probably never would have happened. More importantly, I never would have grown.

My old man used to say:

“You’ve got to roll the dice once in a while. This world isn’t built to foster talent, son…That part is down to you.”

Turns out he was right…Ready for the next task.

Covert Close Protection allows clients to move freely, conduct business, and enjoy life without the distraction of a visible security detail. It’s about blending in while still keeping eyes on every angle, anticipating risks before they happen, and creating an environment where safety feels effortless.

That’s where my team and I come in. With professional training and years of experience, I provide discreet, reliable protection tailored to your lifestyle and needs. My job is to simplify your life not complicate it. You don’t need to stand out to stay safe.

📩 DM @privat.security to discuss how covert close protection can give you peace of mind without compromising your privacy.

Being on Task as team leader isn’t about the position it’s about responsibility.

It means leading from the front when things get tough. It’s staying sharp on task through a 23-hour shift because the client’s safety isn’t optional. It’s making decisions when the stakes are high, and being accountable not just for your client, but for your team and the reputation of the entire firm behind you.

Leadership here isn’t about barking orders. It’s about listening, watching, planning ahead, and knowing when to stand firm. It’s making sure your team is fed, rested, and focused even if it means you eat last and sleep less.

There’s pride in that kind of duty. In knowing that your calm under pressure might be the difference between safety and chaos. In carrying the weight so others don’t have to.

It’s not glamorous. It’s not for everyone, It’s a baptism of fire which forces leaders to learn fast under pressure. It strips away theory and reveals true capability.
Greatness rarely follows a rulebook it’s the unconventional methods, born from instinct, that often outpace the expected.

With this new revelation I will continue to redefine what the capabilities of a Team Leader should be. Thank you to @privat.security for your continued support and faith in my ability.

🎯 Precision. Discipline. Control.

Close protection isn’t just standing next to someone in a suit. It’s risk mitigation. It’s threat assessment. And when necessary—it’s being the last line of defense.

Whether it’s a concealed pistol in a crowded room, a shotgun for CQB, or a long-range rifle covering a high-risk approach, every weapon has a purpose—and every move has a consequence.

This is the training. This is the mindset.
This is the difference between looking the part and being the part.

💬 You’ve trained at the range… but have you trained under pressure?

I was on an international protection detail in Uganda over the Christmas break. I spent my 36th birthday and new years working partly covertly. I was the SIC (second in command) on this job but I was a key player in both preparation and execution ensuring the operation went successfully. I worked in the advance party which was a team that’s embedded before the client arrives and covers all movements and adjusts any security vulnerabilities. Second I was assigned the PPO and Medic of the client. As PPO or personal protection officer, I was the last line of defense against any threat to the client. And as a medic I’m on call to help the client or team in an event of a threat. I’ve already been tapped for more international work soon what role I’ll have I’m unsure about but I’m ready for whatever challenges @privat.security have for me.

External specialist training learning some new tricks to make myself a more practical operator for @privat.security in the near future. The first leg was practical, but that all changed in the second leg, which was CQB tactics in a killhouse (with live rounds). Videos are in the C.P.O highlights (Instagram won’t shadow-ban me this way). I will maybe try to upload a video or two in the future, but I can’t promise much. It was the most fun I’d had in a while, to the people who made this possible thank you I learned a lot and will take your teachings on and continue to practice what you have taught me. thanks guys I will be back soon.

I will always be grateful for having a CP badge, it has really given me space to work on other attributes and traits I possess that I probably wouldn’t get to work on anywhere else. I am now a qualified and licensed FREC 3 Medic (first response emergency care). initially I wanted this to help with my role @privat.security any other close protection detail I may work for. but being on this course, with the life saving skills I’ve learned has made me a more dependable operator, friend brother and son. will be doing way more with this than just making me a more diverse bodyguard…watch this space.
