6 months ago this wonderfully handsome furry guy came into our home, and we've fully embraced being cat dads with all the joys (and toys) that come with it! Whether it's the orchestra of sounds that he greets us with first thing in the morning, his obsession with kicking around foam soccer balls, or how much movie nights have been upgraded we can't get enough. I can't imagine our lives without you Ruhaan, he seems to like us too 🐾😺⚽

Shiva and Shakti — two forces, one form. Stillness and energy exist as one, each incomplete without the other.

Parvat (पर्बत, párvata): a mountain, hill, fragment of rock, mound, or mountain like cloud

Parvat is the third of our sacred landscapes and this piece brings to life the still majesty of mountains. Not merely a setting, but a living presence that carries stories of creation, transformation, devotion, and reverence.

Please join the Triveni Ensemble Saturday, April 18 at 7pm and Sunday, April 19 at 2pm for Bhoomi: Mother Earth, an exploration of the enduring connection between humanity and the ground beneath our feet.

Guha ( गुह, guhā): a cave, cavern, hiding place, or secret place.

We open our show with the quiet mystery of caves. Guha is the first of our sacred landscapes. Not merely a setting, but a living presence that carries stories of creation, transformation, devotion, and reverence.

Enter a world shaped by nature’s vast and enduring beauty with Bhoomi: Mother Earth, a performance that celebrates the sacred landscapes that sustain life. Drawing from the mythological and philosophical traditions of India, this production reflects on the profound relationship between Earth and the human spirit - made visual through the Indian classical dance forms of Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, and Odissi.

Please join the Triveni Ensemble Saturday, April 18 at 7pm and Sunday, April 19 at 2pm for an exploration of the enduring connection between humanity and the ground beneath our feet.

Get your tickets in our bio — early bird discount ends tomorrow (Tuesday, March 31st)!

#artist #spotlight Prnay Chopra featuring Alexandra Indira Sanyal (from Boston) at Facing East Philadelphia.

Prnay’s work weaves together his artistic grounding in Kuchipudi and his ancestral heritage from Punjab and Delhi. It offers a call to action for empathy, coexistence, and cultural sensitivity in a time shadowed by division.

Facing East will present choreographies on theme Voices of Bhakti and Sufi- drawing on songs, poetry that promote radical humanism, foster an inter-faith and pluralistic dialogue against the rising tide of religious fundamentalism globally and in India.

FACING EAST festival was launched in 2015. We imagined this as a collective prayer and protest that united us against violence. The festival celebrates the richness and diversity of Indian dance and music artists in Philadelphia and North America.
