Marino has been recognized as a winner of the PR News Platinum PR Awards in the Integrated Communications, Marketing & PR category for our National Pinsa Day campaign with Di Marco Pinsa. To put pinsa on the map in the U.S., we helped establish May 28 as National Pinsa Day, bringing a taste of Italian heritage to life with Roman centurions, nobles and an emperor taking over NYC, along with a branded pop-up in partnership with Eataly. The campaign delivered 130M+ media impressions, nearly 2,000 coupons distributed, an almost 54% redemption rate, and a line down Fifth Avenue as consumers lined up to try Di Marco’s pinsa. By combining a bold, culturally driven activation with integrated media, influencer partnerships and a seamless path to purchase, we helped establish National Pinsa Day as a new platform for the category while driving measurable consumer engagement and demand. We are so over the moon! A national honor for an #ElonComm alumna! 🎉 Congratulations to Amanda Steinman ’17, who was honored Tuesday night in New York City as one of PRNEWS’ 2026 People of the Year! Steinman, who recently joined cybersecurity company Checkmarx as director of communications, was recognized in the Nonprofit PR Innovators category, celebrating her accomplishments in strategic communications and public relations.
