🚗 TREAT YOUR AUTOMOTIVE CAREER LIKE ITS YOUR BUSINESS.

One thing constantly preached in automotive sales is:
“Treat your career in automotive like it's your own business.”
Think about what the dealership provides.
They give you the office and workplace.
They provide millions of dollars in inventory to sell.
They pay for marketing and advertising to bring customers through the doors.
They provide technology, management, leadership...and even education and training.

That's where Proactive Training Solutions (PTS) comes in.
We've spent a few weeks working through the platform—taking courses, writing quizzes and comparing the training with our training notes and real dealership experience.
And we're STILL learning.

From Phone-Ups That Show Up, Converting Internet Leads, The Power of Listening in Sales, Following Up Unsold Showroom Traffic, Handling Customer Objections and training on phone calls, trades, price shoppers and follow-up—PTS covers situations salespeople face every day.

But it doesn't stop with salespeople.
PTS develops managers too.

Leadership, accountability and coaching are just as important as learning how to sell.

🔥 Coming October 14–16 is Management By Fire—three days focused on developing automotive managers and leaders.

A great dealership needs trained salespeople.
A GREAT sales team needs trained managers.

The dealership provides the building, inventory, advertising, technology and opportunity.
Proactive Training Solutions provides the training, processes and tools to help turn that opportunity into a career so you can be successful and make 💲💲💲

But neither can provide one thing:
YOU still have to do the work.
I entered automotive in 2007, and I'm still finding things inside their platform that I can take back to the dealership floor.

Your desk or office is your storefront.
Your knowledge is your competitive advantage.
Never stop investing in either.

Still don't believe me, checkout their free training on YouTube. Take 10 minutes on a Saturday for the "Saturday Spark". Fast and easily digestible content.

Cancer has kept me from physically getting out to dealerships and doing what I love and I’ve done for years — but it hasn’t stopped me from learning, growing, or staying connected to the automotive industry.

THE biggest reason for that has been our relationship with @proactivetrainingsolutions

What initially attracted me to their platform and the company was their “Saturday Spark” series on YouTube hosted by CEO and my homie @michaelirenaud He's not just offering advice — he's providing actual information, practical guidance, and word tracks that can be used TODAY.

The team at Proactive has granted me access to their training platform and courses, and it has done more for me than simply keep me busy. It has helped me stay sharp, sharpen skills I already had, and learn entirely new ones that I may never have been exposed to otherwise, and my shirt stayed on.

The courses you see completed in this video? I completed them in just three days because it's so digestible.

Cancer, unbearable pain, uncertainty, my body and life changing by the day — all of it, happening at once..

But I could still open that training platform.

And once I started, the training was EASY to stay engaged with — bingeable like a really good Netflix show or a book you just can’t put down. One course led naturally into the next, and before I knew it, I was learning from Alan Ram himself (pioneer of automotive sales training)

I could still learn and improve.

I could still move forward.

That means more to me right now than I can properly put into words.

If you work in automotive sales, management, leadership, or simply believe you should never stop developing your skills, I strongly encourage you to take a look at what our friends @proactivetrainingsolutions are doing.

Great training isn’t just about becoming better when everything is going well.

Sometimes it gives you something productive to hold onto when absolutely nothing is going according to plan.

Thank you to everyone at Proactive Training Solutions for allowing me that opportunity.

Still learning. Still sharpening the sword. Still in the game. Shirt stayed on.
