Home, memory, and old friends. Marc in his kitchen.Part of an ongoing project documenting my childhood village and the final resting place of my mother.

The second image is an accidental double exposure. I was photographing his bath with all of the plants in buckets and then moved into the kitchen for this portrait, whilst rushing I managed to expose the same sheet of film again. A mistake with its own charm.

Thursday night’s launch was amazing and I’d like to thank all that came to support us… but before we share images of the evening I wanted to thank everyone that has helped us behind the scenes….

I know how much these exhibitions at the hall are loved and appreciated by all that visit. The set up takes us about three weeks. It was wonderful to be able to share the process with Megan Evans @curadwr who has been by my side throughout the process- visiting artists at their studios, receiving the work in from all the artists and makers, cleaning, lifting carrying, making coffee, typing and chopping labels, and the nice bit… curating the show. Thank you Meg… the hard work done we can now enjoy presenting the work stunning works over the next two weeks.
Also huge thanks to the following for helping us make this happen
Richard and Liam for the set up, Ryan and Stephen for the electrics, Morgan for the exterior clean of the building, Andrew for fixing the locks, Ben for fitting the taps… this old building needs constant care and attention.
Thanks you to Jess and Mel for the finishing touches with the plants and foliage displays, to Kevin and Caroline at the framers. Tim and Betsan Bowen for the beautiful Welsh Antiques that help set the scene.
Thanks to Scott, Lauren and Aisha at Coal town for the delicious espresso martinis and Pitchfork Provisions for the tasty ember cake.
Thank you teamtastic Alison and Sarah who served wine and soft drinks with such joy…And thanks to mum for all your support and chores dashing back and fore to the framers, post office etc!! And thank to my husband Tony for your support and carpentry skills…and the spectacular chicken curry you cooked last night. Xx.

Thank you Marc Bond for the fantastic capture of some of the process that goes into putting on an exhibition and piecing it into a stunning little keepsake reel.

It was wonderful to welcome the seven artists from @welshgroup.art to the Open Evening on Friday three weeks after they dropped off their works.
Having met most for the first at their studios back in January, the anticipation of seeing their works all together in a gallery unknown to them, curated by a curator unknown to them - it was hard to know what to Expect!

Thank you to Megan Evans for starring in the reel… you were missed on Friday night…

Meg has been super busy prepping and curating her own masterpiece @artinlaugharne Today is the second of two days for the Laugharne Art trail. If you’re in the area go take a look.

Thank you @profondomarco

A spontaneously creative film by Marc Bond.
When Plan A falls apart the creative has to think on their feet and quickly come up with a plan B.
Thank you Marc, your creatively is boundless and always inspiring.
