Exciting news from all of us at Project 17 🌍✨

I’m honored to be speaking at #LnDAfricaRise2026 this week, representing our team.

At Project 17, we believe African children aren’t just learning about the world, they’re helping shape it. Our stories are not only heritage to protect, they’re a creative industry to build, and our children are the ones holding the pen.

And it ties to something special we have coming soon, a new book we can’t wait to share.

Join Project 17 at Climate Week NYC on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026!

If you’ll be in New York during Climate Week, come join Project 17 for an interactive workshop exploring who gets to tell Africa’s climate story and ways to tell it.

Rather than a traditional panel, this creative gathering will bring together African literature and lived experiences to explore how storytelling can reshape climate narratives and support environmental education. Expect a mix of conversation, learning, creativity, and connection, with authors, climate leaders, and educators helping us think differently about how Africa’s climate story is told.

📍 Oyster Classroom, Pier 57, 25 11th Ave, New York, NY 10011
I’d love to see you there, connect, and share this experience together!

DMV! We are excited to announce our first community event to celebrate our second year anniversary!

We’ve partnered with @everlasting_joy_foundation and @project17.ng in hosting a food drive specifically for those living in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas.

As we reflect on the last two years, this platform is beyond an online platform. We recognize that the actual work is done through initiatives like this one that impact the lives of the African community.

Tell a friend to tell a friend.
Thank you

“There's something so special about a woman who dominates in a man's world. It takes a certain grace, strength, intelligence, fearlessness and the nerve to never take no for an answer” - Rihanna
.
Happy International Women’s Day 💝
.
#ichoosetochallenge inequality and gender bias. It’s been a long drive and I believe our arrival is soon. I want to see women win in all ramifications, not judged by how they choose to live their lives, not hindered from great opportunities but allowed to soar and fly as far as she can.
.
Today I celebrate all women activists, speaking up for what is right. I celebrate women in academia, changing the narrative in Science and Technology. I celebrate women in politics, making the best decisions for all 👏👏👏
.
I am not just a Woman, but a powerful voice who will continue to strive for greatness while helping other women around me 👌

Thank you!!!
.
With YOUR support, ClassX was able to raise approximately N300,000 during our last fundraising campaign. After deliberations with the school, we decided on the most optimal way to apply the funds to cater to the current needs of the students - A book shelf and over 250 textbooks were purchased for both Junior & Senior Secondary sections.

Your donations have indeed made a difference! And we couldn't be more grateful!
.
Please watch this space for updates on upcoming projects.
