“I don’t know maths, but I’m willing to learn.” A child wrote these words during one of our pre-tests. @project29foundation_ started because I believe every child deserves an opportunity to learn, regardless of their background. Sometimes, all a child needs is someone willing to give them that opportunity. My birthday wish is simple: Help me keep our After-School Maths Club FREE. With just ₦5,000, you can support one child’s place for an entire term. Send your birthday gift to: Providus Bank 1309780361 THE TWENTY NINE IMPACT L&D No amount is too small. Thank you for helping me keep this dream alive.

It’s almost the International Day of the Girl Child. I shared this last year, and a year later, I believe the message is still just as valid. Because some conversations shouldn’t end when the commemorative day is over. As we approach October 11 again, I’m bringing this back. Watch. Listen. And let’s keep the conversation going. The change that I make is through the work I do @project29foundation_

Two years into building Project 29 Foundation, I have learnt that wanting to do good work and being able to sustain it are two different things. There were moments I genuinely did not know how we would keep going. But people showed up, donated, gave their time, and when plans failed, we tried again. Two years later: 📚 100+ students reached 📈 Confidence scores moving from 30% to 70% 🎓 WAEC fees supported for students Now, I’m learning to do something I’m still not comfortable with: ask for help. We want to keep our after-school Maths Club free and open the door to more students. To support: THE TWENTY NINE IMPACT L&D 1309780361 | Providus Bank Can’t give at the moment? A share could help us reach someone who can. Two years down. We keep building.

Nigeria’s 2019 ICT-in-Education Policy sets out a vision of education that is accessible, empowering, inclusive and enriching. For a teacher like Mrs Blessing, that vision depends on training, infrastructure and funding working together. Welcome to Day 2 of Nigerian Policy in Real Life. Today, we unpack the promise. What was your experience with computers in secondary school, where they enough or your school was just like Mrs Blessings? Tell me in the comments

Young people have ideas. They have the drive to create change. But what happens when the networks, skills, and opportunities to turn that motivation into action are out of reach? That’s the gap Beyond Talk is created to address. A youth action conference connecting young people in Northern Nigeria to practical skills, mentors, networks, and opportunities to build solutions to the challenges around them. Because young people don’t just need to be inspired. They need access. They need support. They need a pathway to action. And this is just the beginning. #BeyondTalk2026 #BuildingSolutionsWhereWeAre #Project29Foundation #YouthAction #YouthDevelopment #NigeriaYouth #BeyondTalk2026 #BuildingSolutionsWhereWeAre #Project29Foundation #YouthAction #YoungChangemakers #BeyondTalk
