I am unbelievably thrilled to announce I have been selected to be a @endofound College Ambassador for @pennstate 🤍💙

This organization means the absolute world to me and it is a resource I relied on when I was navigating my endometriosis diagnosis. I can’t wait to bring more awareness to a disease I face every single day. I am so proud to be an endo warrior and am ready to continue sharing my story and give others hope🎗️

“Healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it.” — Tori Amos

Throughout my journey with endometriosis I have lived through pain and a lot of bad days that many people don’t see. Somedays it feels like a battle to just get out of bed but then I remember that I have the ability to remind others that they can persevere through it all. So this is your reminder that you are stronger than you know, and endo or any disease doesn’t define you🤍

Big smiles because I just interviewed for my dream job🌟🌟

I left a piece of my heart in that interview room and I’m so thankful for this opportunity. Getting to share my story and tell about the joy I’ve found in my journey is something I will never forget. Now onto prelims!!!!!!

Girl Scout Central, here I come!!!!

After many meetings and hours of planning I’m so excited to partner with Girl Scouts to launch my class, “Body Smart, Confidence Strong!” Bringing education and awareness to menstruation while also teaching the importance of working to end period poverty is the backbone of my mission. As a future educator, endometriosis warrior, and period poverty advocate this is like a dream come true💚

Taylor Swift said it best💅🏻

The double standard is hard to ignore. We expect people to manage their periods, but access to period products isn’t guaranteed. With almost 1 in 4 U.S. teens experiencing period poverty, it’s time to recognize pads and tampons for what they are, basic necessities, not luxuries. That’s why the mission of Project Essential to break the stigma and end period poverty is so important to me❤️

“I saw this and it made me think of you”

Many times I have gotten this text with a picture of free menstrual products and every time makes my heart so happy. This simple text is a reminder that my mission is possible and it’s happening. No one should ever have to question if they will be able to access these essential goods and I will not stop until that goal is met💕

Only the biggest smiles on donation days💙

Feeling so blessed to have been able to drop off essential goods at Centre Helps in State College. To give back to places that are making amazing impacts in my community is something that I will never take for granted. Grateful for all of the support @project_essential_ continues to receive, it’s truly a dream come true.

Nothing brings some sunshine on a rainy day like stocking up on essentials to donate❤️

None of this would be possible without the incredible kindness and donations gifted to my non profit Project Essential. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who have supported my dreams of being able to give back! This is your reminder to go for it and spread joy every chance you get✨

I’m not crying you are….

Today was a big reminder for me that Project Essential isn’t just a platform, it’s a part of my story. If you told 11 year old Finley she would be in front of people talking about how normal it is for your body to be changing she would’ve called you crazy. It’s been a long journey that I can’t wait to continue and I’m forever grateful for the impact I am able to make.

This is your sign to take the leap of faith and be the change you want to see in the world.

“I can be changed by what happens to me, but I refused to be reduced by it” - Maya Angelou

In honor of March being Endometriosis Awareness Month I am proud to be sharing my story. For many years I dealt with chronic pain and it wasn’t something teenage girls were talking about. After many tests and doctor appointments, I finally had a doctor who wanted to take the next step towards a diagnosis. In November 2024 I underwent surgery where I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Endometriosis and was told by my doctor it was the worst case he had seen at my age.

My journey with Endometriosis has inspired me to continue to give back menstrual and hygiene products to my community. Through my nonprofit Project Essential, I have been able to educate about the importance of feminine health across Central Pennsylvania and break down stereotypes facing so many girls and women. Don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself and share your journey💛
