Thank you to Project Rainbow for being one of our esteemed Sponsors for the 2026 Salt Lake City Leather Pride Festival

Community is what makes Salt Lake Leather Pride powerful.
We’re proud to welcome Project Rainbow back as a community partner this year! Their work turning Pride flag campaigns into micro-grants for LGBTQ+ organizations, events, and initiatives helps keep our community strong and visible.

When you support Salt Lake Leather Pride, you’re helping raise funds for Utah AIDS Foundation Legacy Health and supporting community organizations like Project Rainbow that put resources directly where they’re needed most.

Always grateful for this beautiful life full of beautiful people doing beautiful things. Serving my wonderful community, my non profit family, my family and friends, my dog and helping to create safe spaces for all of us in a world that can be cruel and unforgiving is what genuinely makes me happy. Be grateful, be kind, be patient and be persistent🔥🫶 #recoveryispossible #transgender #kindness #suicideawareness #grateful

Last day to apply! Award and waitlist emails go out tomorrow. Link in Bio.

Brief (AKA Panty) Making Workshop

Tuesday November 3rd, 5pm - 8pm
Saturday November 7th, 11am - 6pm
Indie Square Coworking, Murray, Utah

Beginner participants must be able to attend both sessions.

DETAILS

Learn to sew! Learn to make briefs --aka panties! Like a pro, from the pros! In an inclusive, encouraging, environment alongside other queer and trans people.

This intensive 8 hour workshop is structured to accommodate LGBTQIA+ of all sewing levels.

It includes conventional women's underwear, versions with more front/crotch space, and compression* (aka tucking) styles.

This is crash course --in a fun way! If this is your first time sewing, it will be challenging sure, but 100% doable. We can basically guarantee you'll leave with a pair of self made underwear!

We take lots of breaks, all meals and snacks are provided, plus our instructors are really great.

If you mostly just want to learn to sew --not necessarily super interested in underwear making, this workshop is still for you. The skills you'll learn are universal.

A special note for low income Black & Indigenous people. We welcome you to take the workshop for free and we can offer reimbursement up to $30 for a Lyft, Uber or taxi if you need it, and/or help coordinate rideshares.

*Compression undies are worn by some transgender women, femme, nonbinary or drag performers who want a flat front look in their underwear.

Hey friends, going to keep posting to make sure you all know about the event this Saturday. You are welcome to come at the beginning and party with us all day long, get out of your comfort zone and try something new, or come for the workshops that seem fun, or just sneak in for a snack and to peek around the space. Whatever you choose, I will be very excited to meet you and show you the gym!

All of these workshops are accessible for everyone! Feel free to use a chair, mobility aid, rest as often as you need, I just want to help people enjoy moving and build community.

The whole day is free, sponsored by the amazing Project Rainbow. I’m so grateful to Queer & Sober for wanting to showcase my space. I really do have some amazing people supporting my passion and I could not be luckier! I hope you stop by and say hello!!

I have been thinking about Pride In The Park since June. I knew it was the last Saturday in September. And when I was getting things together for my weekly post, I apparently forgot what day/week it was. I thought we had another week. (We can also maybe blame waking up at 3:00 AM to take someone to the airport). Anyway! Pride In The Park is on Saturday from 11-5! I am going to be there with @emily.activist at a table. I may or may not wear a rainbow tube top? Anyway.. come hang with us 💋🌈
