@orkenyszinhaz is one of the three major independent theatres in Budapest. It was established under this name in 2004, but it has been a theatrical company since 1954.🎭 They are not only producing theatrical plays and performances but are an active part of the neighborhood with outdoor festivals and projects for locals. 🤲 The theatre also has a youth program called “Örkényköz,” which is a ten-year-old theatre education program, and it was one of the first in Hungary to open up a new channel for active, community-building engagement with audiences. #greenethics #greenethicsculture #creativeeurope #greenart #ecoart #environmentart #europacreativa #sustainability #ecology #ecotheatre

In April we closed and now we bid farewell to this outstanding project of the Hangvető universe, MOST - The Bridge for Balkan Music. @mostmusiceu was the first large-scale Creative Europe cooperation project that was led by a Hungarian organisation. We gave our very best together with our partners to reach our ambitious goals and to create a long-lasting impact in the Balkan region. And what happened during this 4-year long adventure? 🎥 We attempted to summarise in this video. Whatch the images and listen to the participants to get the essence of MOST! And the rest: the connections, experience, knowledge, and memories we take with us. 💕 @password.production @piranha_records_germany @songlinesmagazine @exit.fondacija @bgma.music @europeanmusiccouncil @bozarbrussels @proprogressione @2023.timisoara REK-Remont Kapital Cultural Center @ced_hungary

The artistic partner of the Green Ethics project, Pro Progressione, based in Budapest, premiered their performance addressing various topics connected to the local environment. The performance was born from a collective idea developed by the artistic team and a local theatrical youth group. It covered a wide range of topics, from the issue of fast fashion to the question of individual versus collective responsibility regarding climate change. The common feature of all the topics was their connection to the local environment. Bálint Antal, the communication manager, believes that “this kind of live edutainment theatre can make you have fun and think at the same time, which is a unique opportunity.” Read the interview on our webpage www.greenethics.eu. #greenethics #greenethicsculture #creativeeurope #greenart #ecoart #environmentart #europacreativa #sustainability #ecology #ecotheatre
