With such a boom in magical girl content, we wanted to share other projects we love. Some you may not know these, and some you may already love! Magical girls worldwide should lift each other up and support each other! The whole point of making a magical girl show is to uplift women and showcase friendship, sisterhood, and how COOL/BADASS we can be, so it's only right to share some of these amazing creators' work, too! They're all so unique and different in their own way, and that's what makes it so much fun to go through and support! EDIT- @prosperitystudios_ are Canadian and I’m a silly Brit who didn’t realise 🥲 WE LOVE CANADA ❤️🤍❤️You want Witches? Cats? LGBTQ+ rep, POC main characters?Gemstones? Rollerskating? Vampires? Space? They got it!! If we missed out on your favourite, PLEASE LET US KNOW!! We must consume all the media. <3 #magicalgirl #indieanimation #magicalgirls

Hi @msrachelforlittles
I'm Marion from Attitude Foundation Africa in Uganda.
Your songs are teaching our 155 little ones every day — even when they have no books to go to school with.
We just supported 14 children to go back to school (9%), but 141 are still waiting for a €45 kit: Books, Uniform, Hygiene.
You are their favorite teacher. Could you please share our story? One share from you = 155 kids back in school.

This animation has now meant a lot to me :33

Initially, i wanted to work really hard on this to be able to to win, im trying to save up some money!! but as i kept going with working on this lil project, a couple of thoughts and feelings came up !

i either got sloppy, or got a few drawings really well done, or disliked and liked certain parts of it, i had some sketches i cleaned up real well and some were messy for the sake of being able to *finish* this, but overall i just,,had fun animating >_<< and i hadnt experienced that fun for a long while now for animation, especially with being such a perfectionist in my work, always undo-ing, always erasing, not for the sake of experimenting but for knowing its a mistake, but here i just- wowza boom do a lil bit of this a lil bit of that, like i just balled it and?? i still love how it turned out !! in such a short time too, i started it on september 2 and worked on it (overall) for 17 hours and,, ackk just working on this means a lot

ALSO what we know so far of this story is pretty damn solid?? especially for character growth and exploration on grief, ESPECIALLY how it would be for young black women who've gone through so much, even as i was drawing such a cutesy transformation sequence, i was just oh so excited for the broader story to come :DD it does kinda remind me of my feelings through this animation, the highs of animating, the lows of feeling like *ack i cant do this right*, and just learning to accept that what im drawing as good enough and to honor what was most important to me for it: to finish something, i know its not the direct or exact feelings that may happen in paragons of xithea, but feeling so strongly, having those ties of what you do (in maggies case, her direct hereditary lineage of her magical girl powers, in my case, drawing) to how you feel about yourself, to how you cope through life, to how you feel about others like you, gUAGHJD its such a heavy hitter, and i know this show will be SUCH a heavy hitter

the kickstarter's comin out soon :33 cant wait to do what im able to to support it!!

also also! i shared my process of most of this piece on my twitch!!
